This is it everyone! Kiwami 2 already got leaked but Nagoshi-san has said that they still have surprises outside of Kiwami 2. Could be anything, really. Binary Domain 2, Ryu Ga Gotoku 7 (Yakuza 7) or a new IP altogether!

This stream will be almost entirely in Japanese however, don't expect subs or anything like that. This is a stream by the Japanese devs, for the Japanese Crowd. So as such, expect only NEW games to be announced. There won't be any PC ports or localization announcements here.

I hope this stream goes better than the last time.

EDIT: Stream is now over. There were a total of 3 (well, technically 4) projects announced. Kiwami 2, A Shin Ryu Ga Gotoku game that will also have a mobile version, and a new Hokuto no Ken game.

- A new game in the Yakuza series (won't be called Ryu Ga Gotoku / Yakuza) but it'll be to do with the Japanese mafia. It'll use the Dragon engine from Yakuza 6. It'll still be an action beat them up RPG.

It's a shame that Yakuza 2 Remake was leaked one day before this stream, It would have been awesome to see it for the first time in a trailer/whatever they are going to show (Because if it releases on december there's no way they don't have any footage for it by now).

As Yakuza 5 has proved, they don't need to sacrifice on their Yakuza games in order to release a new Binary Domain game/new IP.

Keep an eye out for that, since SEGA themselves said Yakuza and Persona are definitely among the titles they want to see on PC. We might just get our wish.

I played Yakuza 1,2,3,4,5 Ishin and 0 within a period of almost 1.5 years and I can safely say that I am giddy as fuck for more Yakuza. You might feel tired of the series, which is perfectly fine, but they don't need to stop the yakuza series even if they want to focus on other projects as we've seen in the past with Binary Domain.
