This is obvious to a lot of people, but I'll say it anyway: everyone is always going to find ways to point out perceived shortcomings in your life.
OP, do you know what will happen the INSTANT you lose your virginity? You will start worrying about the fact that you've ONLY had sex with one girl. Then ONLY two. Then ONLY three. Then, "Oh man, I'm not a virgin, but I've never actually been in love....." I want that. Then you find someone you do love, and enter into a long lasting relationship, then people will wonder why you don't get married. "What's wrong with you?" "We got married right away." "We knew when we first saw each other." Then you get married. Then people say, "Oh, well you're still newlyweds, you don't know about how marriage REALLY is yet, but you will *pats head*" Then you start getting asked "So when are you going to have kids" "It's selfish not to have kids" "We had kids right away"
I promise you this will happen. It happens to everyone.
THE CYCLE GOES ON AND ON AND ON AND IT NEVER STOPS. Your life will always be scrutinized by others. The only way to win is to not give a fuck. It's the only way. Stop caring about the stuff. Just stop.
If you want to make more of an effort to be social and get out there, do something outside after work/school everyday. Every day. Doesn't matter what. Just be outside.
