Is it me or La Mulana manages to one up and then crank to eleven the "frustration" and "broken kyboards" coefficients even more than the two Dark Souls combined?
Heck, I managed to unlock the western tower of the goddess by sheer luck...

Sorry man, Heroes of Might & Magic 3 is all I need.

You're as broke as the hobo in your avatar huh?
No offense intended
...but no really get the game, even for $6 you'll be getting more than your money's worth. It takes 30-40 hours to complete an initial playthrough!

Daily Might & Magic Heroes Franchise Pack 75% off (Includes Uplay games)
Separate games also discounted 40-75%

I'm very tempted on this, I haven't played Heroes since 2 I think or maybe that was 3 and really enjoyed it. that franchise pack for 24.99 with HoMM V and VI, Dark Messiah, MMX, MMVI, clash of heroes (no idea what that is about) and scads of dlc. That is a lot of replayable content for 25 bucks.

Pretty much, there are hints inscribed in the stones but they are in form of riddles. It's a very hard but discovering what you have to do is satisfying.

Just watching some video on this game, it's a shame when we permanently lose access to licensed games.

That was a fun game. I still have my copy.

I'm currently looking for a GC/PS2 version for emulation purposes. The PC version is cost prohibitive and I don't even have physical drives in my main PC anymore. I suppose I could rip the iso file from my laptop like I do with my console games though.

Really? There's a chain of "exchange" or more correctly pawn shops here specialising in electronics and media who have 26 copies in stock for £6 and Amazon.co.uk has copies for around £10. Then us Europeans have always clung onto our boxed products :p. shame shipping would cost a silly amount or I'd pick you up a copy. But hey a GCN copy through Dolphin might end up the better experience so might be worth having a look into which version works out the best.

I've been waiting on a deal for this for a while. Too bad it looks like there's no steam key. It's on steam now too, don't know why they're not offering one when most of the other steam games in the sale are.

There's a Steam key, I just bought it. It's just not advertised for some reason.

Seraphis Cain

bad gameplay lol
Is there anything I can do about this problem I'm having with Blades of Time? I have an integrated graphics card, and it's not great, but it gets the job done for a lot of things. Best example I can point to is that I can play Arkham Asylum on low settings. A few other more recent things like Deadly Premonition and Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed work on low settings as well. But with Blades of Time, everything works fine on low settings save for the game lagging/hanging/dropping frames every 1.5/2 seconds. The game works absolutely fine aside from that, and the thing about it is, I can bump the settings up a bit, textures up to medium, turn on vsync, up the res to 1280 x 720, and get the exact same performance. So I mean, BoT is obviously not a demanding game at all, according to HWMonitor it's not taxing my CPU at all, nor does it eat a lot of RAM. So I kinda don't understand where the lag problem is coming from.

Am I a strange one for not wanting to buy GOG games? I kinda like Stream games because of the achievements...

Played a few hours of KAMI last night (part of the weekly humble bundle) and really enjoyed it. It's a very simple puzzle game where you try to make efficient moves matching colors of tiles and whatnot. But the aesthetic is nice, it's all made to look like origami. I believe this game is also available on touch devices and I can see how that would work really well.
Thanks again for the giveaway Shadownet.

I once asked how it could be that some folks have like 50 hours in super house of the dead ninjas.

Now, I wonder how they were able to just keep it at 50. Good god is that game addictive.

Just played "The Cat Lady" in an effort to play some games i haven't tried yet, and it has quite possibly the worst voice "actors" in the world. The main character is mean to be an old-ish lady but is voiced by someone who sounds like they're 18.

It's a nice point and click-type of adventure game but the voice acting is insanely off-putting.

I don't either. I'll buy them if it's something not available on Steam, or better than what's on Steam (like the OG Baldur's Gate games), but if given the choice I'd buy from Steam every time.

Best MMOs on steam?

FFXI/FFXIV
LOTRO
Guild Wars
Neverwinter
EVE
Marvel Heroes - Rhaknar loves this, I literally know nothing about it.

Someone also posted a video to an Asian F2P MMO recently that looked like it played similar to a third person shooter or third person action game. The visual style was distinctively 'loli,' but the gameplay looked quite interesting.

I question whether the PC version is even worth getting at this point. Not on PC gaming wiki.

Hahaha because if your avatar I read this in Karl Pilkington's voice combined with his twisted world views so I have no idea what to think.

Love Marvel Heroes, think I'll redownload LOTRO and try Neverwinter. EVE looks too advanced for me and FF has a sub. Already have GW2 but thanks.

Buy Jelly, here are the closing statements on my review of it.

There is much to complement The Floor is Jelly for, from its odd premise to its striking visual style, but one thing that is hard to complement is its runtime. It lasts a mere 3-4 hours, and while there are secrets to find there is not much incentive to replay the game. It's an interesting and trippy ride to say the least, but for $10 it’s a hard sell.

The Floor is Jelly is an odd platformer with relaxing, gelatinous physics. While it doesn't bother with narrative elements, it's a charming experience nonetheless. This is a bouncy world that 2D platformer and Super Meat Boy fans will appreciate for its quirkiness alone.

Pretty much the 10$ price was the biggest issue, with it's current price I can recommend it to all with ease.
