Watching the trailer again one of the thing that stands out the most for me is the acting. The male character sounds familiar to me but I can't quite put my finger on it. Any chance that the names of the actors in the game can be revealed?
We haven't set a minimum target spec at the moment - obliviously we'd like to support Oculus Rift on minimum spces, but we've still a lot of optimisation work ahead of us
Yikes, you guys see the 970 as the minimum spec for consumer vr hmd first gen? I thought Oculus designated that as recommended for a smooth experience. I know ymmv with certain
games especially ones that look as sharp as yours.
Not like I'm surprised or anything, my 970 has trouble running a handful of things @75 fps on the dk2 as it is. Hopefully you guys will have time to implement a variety of quality settings so it isn't a completely premium experience

Yes, absolutely - we'll be sharing more details about our voice talent a little further down the line. For E3, we really want the spotlight to be on The Assembly's use of VR, the dual character perspective and the moral dilemmas facing the player.
Those screenshots were captured from a PC screen, rather than from within the VR headset itself. Even so, the game is remarkably crisp and clear - we have to use super-high detailed textures as you're able to peer in and look at objects more closely in VR than in flat-screen games.
The in-game footage you see from the trailer is highly representative and gives you a good idea of what the The Assembly looks like when playing it.
