Harry Knowles would say that. I wish I could say that is surprising.
FF will be awkward I imagine.

Disgusting. Can't say I'm surprised, though. This just popped up on my feed accompanying the story:

Perhaps this is new thread worthy?

Nothing specifically about him has come out, this is more like a Paterno "buck stops here" situation where he kept associating with these people after this stuff kept being reported to him and helped cover for it.How long until stories about Tim himself leak?
The fact that those DMs that Knowles was sending were back in JUNE and Tim had been actively protecting another creeper Devin for the entire year is astounding. Like is Tim cool with perverts or something and he just chalks it up to his friends 'messing around'?
Not to absolve him of anything, but the poster did note she didn't share these with anyone so Tim wouldn't have been protected Harry on these since he probably didn't know.
Is Knowles one of the people that chooses what plays at the fest?
Really well, in fact:
Yikes
Jesus no wonder he hired a crisis management company
If you develop a conscience, morals, or ethics can you file for workers comp in that industry?I can't imagine doing that job. It's one thing defending a guilty person so they get a fair trial. It's another defending the public image of a total shitbag.
So... Fantastic Fest seems to be going well:

What in the fuck
How clueless do you have to be to not realize that was a bad idea?
Hell, this stuff would be a bad idea in a normal year.So... Fantastic Fest seems to be going well:

Porn is as old as the medium itself. Not a lot of it survived, but there are a few hardcore films from the 1910s that are well known for instance. To what extent is the Ed Wood film pornographic? I thought he retired/died long before commercial porn came into existence.

Choi also has a bunch of follow-up tweets about how it's very softcore and how positive its depiction of same-sex relationships is, and how much of that was contextualized at the screening.Ariel Schudson‏ said:I'm a little lot angry. As a film historian I know that Ed Wood film was not what folx are saying it is. And? IT WAS PRESENTED WITH CONTEXT.
Really sounds like a nice place...
Holy fucking shit, these guys.
edit: so when are we starting GAFCinemaHouse, where bullshit like this doesn't happen?

On one hand, this is kind of cool. On the other, it's a great scene in The Square because it's depicting something that crosses the bounds of what's acceptable. It's great in the context of the movie. It's missing the point to bring it to life.
My friend was assaulted by Knowles at a #FantasticFest event. Years later she went to the US for a job with 20th Century Fox...
... she was a "good time girl". One director acted like he had CABIN FEVER in trying to get it on with her while Knowles stood by laughing.
