WD is huge. I like it but there are some things that can improve in the sequel. It's much better than ac1 so they have a good starting point.
May Watch Dogs 2 be the new Assassin's Creed 2!
A sequel where instead of fixing the problems of the game, they just make it a generic open world game and throw a lot of side content? Well, I guess it worked with AC1 where instead of fixing the problems such as the actual missions and combat, they just threw a lot of crap in to the game and people eat it up.
Crows have been served and fed. And still have some stocks left.
It's a strange position to hold. Finding the sales of a game as "unfortunate"? People shouldn't act like their opinion on a certain product is the final word on it, let folks buy and enjoy whatever they want. That's the second time I've seen that pic being used for any (imo deserved) Watch Dogs criticism.
First, was against me

There are a lot of games I don't like at all but have been happy they're successful. cantwealljustgetalong.jpg

Gahdamn 36% share for PS4. Looking at this it's the most dominant platform of the last 6 years for Ubi.
While that's true, both AC and Watch Dogs were heavily marked almost exclusively for PlayStation. This % of sales breakdown seems a bit disastrous for Microsoft. 360 went down massively in favor of PS4, and Xbox One doesn't even edge out the PS3. Both of Microsoft's platforms put together don't even match PS4 alone and this is early evidence that Sony overall may be controlling about 50% of the console game market. Hardware numbers are good to have, sure, but this is much more interesting and telling. Those are the real numbers they care about.

Sure, it's undoubtedly paying off for Ubi, but might be inaccurate for drawing market share conclusions.
Ubisoft set expectations at 6.3 million in their fiscal call before launch so they're well beyond that still.
Don't take my post so seriously.
Of course everyone's entitled to their opinion - I'm not dismissing anyone's valid criticisms. I could list many problems with the game (primarily the story), I just think overall it's far from a *bad* game.
Bought it day 1. Wish I didn't. What an absolute waste of a game. Its not even bad its just nothing of note.
Screenshot pls, anonymous users cant see the graph.
It's evidence that the game had a lot "next gen hype" and that the Playstation marketing was effective.
The "next gen hype" helped in terms of PS4 sales too since the PS4 was the cheapest new system to play the game.
You need to move your cursor to see the breakdown of other years. For example the most dominant Wii year
It's easily the blandest AAA game I've played since Medal of Honor: Warfighter.
They'll talk about 360/PS3 Assassin's Creed "soon".Did they say anything interesting in the call?
I still dont know what my season pass do!

Of the overall sell-through data of WD, PC represented 10-12% - of which 70% were digital.
PS4\XB1 digital share of is 10%, with the XB1 being a bit more than 10% and the PS4 a bit less than 10%.
The digital share for 360\PS3 is only 3 to 5%.
Digital copies are bought more in the US than in Europe.
enormously undeserved.
never played a big budget video game so uninspiringly designed.
Thanks, new thread here: http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showthread.php?t=852742
This I think I might also copy into a new thread. We rarely get this data.
Yeah, i'm still hearing the replay and they have some more physical-digital ratios:
Valiant Hearts - 50-50
Child of Light - 75% digital, 25% physical.
