haha their response is about graphics being so good these days is kind of endearing, like something your dad might say. I like how they just admitted to not looking close enough, like what are you gonna do really.

Some of those pictures look like they would be very difficult to take in real life, especially the high speed one.

The graphics are good but I think it looks more like CGI than real life.

Heh ok. I've just seen the argument come enough that I automatically assume it to be serious. I just thought that an example of a game being mistaken for real life would be the worst possible time to invoke it lol.

I mean I can understand them thinking this is real life. I'm sitting here, knowing these are Driveclub shots and not real, and yet they still are pretty damn close.

I think we may hit photo realism on racing titles next gen. Everything else? Not really sure but I think racing games will probably hit true photo realism.

Most 'high speed' shots are taken at about 10mph with a slow shutter.
