It's the car shot from above. Noctis, Luna and Gladiolus are sitting in the back. Luna is messing with Noctis, giving the impression that he should scoot over because there is not enough room in the back. In the front, Prompto is looking back like an idiot, and Ignis is driving.
A key point to understanding what's going on is that this is clearly an older artwork as it is before they mirrored the side of the road the cars drive on, so everyone is in the opposite place they would normally be in.
Honestly im excited but i dont care until I can play the whole game, we were strung along for 8 years before the game was reannounced and since then its been 2 years with out a whisper of a release date, you really expect me to be excited by the prospect of you announcing the release date in march? Fuck off. Wake me up when the game is done. Square has to realize that this isnt how you market a game, and if this were a lesser franchise the world would have forgotten. They need to get in the habbit of announcing games when they know they can launch in a timely manner.
No worries bro. Just pretend the first time you heard of it is in March, and the marketing will live up to your expectations. Beyond that, at the end of the day. Who cares how it's marketed? The bumbling marketing they've had has zero impact on the development of the game. After the game is out, no matter how poorly they were at messaging, none of this will matter. In fact, the exact reason the marketing has been so bad this year is specifically because they were focusing 100% on development, and in the process kinda screwed over the marketing team.(they were working on every aspect of the game simultaneously instead of, one piece at a time, as a result there was never enough content in a polished state to show off. It's a better workflow for development, but it killed their marketing push this year.)
