The whole anti-overtime/anti-crunch sentiment of the past few years was always too black & white for my tastes. IMO it's not bad if it's voluntary, or if the employees are being compensated for the overtime & crunch. If that's NOT happening, then that's where the actual problems and blowback happens (as it should).
If people are voluntarily putting in overtime & crunch, that usually just means they're passionate enough for the project. Compensate them for the time in any case.
