The Square Enix game will take up exactly 102 GB on Nintendo's console, compared to approximately 145 GB for other iterations. On X, director Naoki Hamaguchi said he reused the lessons learned from optimizing the game for the Steam Deck on the Switch 2 version.

"We're using what we learned from optimizing for the Steam Deck to improve the Switch 2 version as well, including reducing the overall data size."

It's a big game. I'll have to make space on my card. I'm glad I got it before prices skyrocketed. I think mine was 512GB for like $50 at Walmart.

170 GB preload on the Xbox- Jesus.

Bigger than the PS5, as mentioned.

I guess the concept of multiple Gamecards was too lame for me to comprehend...sorry.

Developers already use key cards to avoid the high cart cost, Square shipping a game on 4 carts would need them to price the game $150 at least.

i know, i was just joking, cause back in the day multiple discs was the only way to ship a game physically since digital gaming was a baby, my point was that it can be done and that would be the only way.

nah, you just stupid ( or just too easily offended ) to understand simple joke reference of gaming or you may be too young, but i believe that is sadly the first one.
