Not as long but we got another one!
At around 2:30 mark: how is inventory management going to work on a controller? Looks like its designed for a m+kb?
It looks okay otherwise, I might give it a shot.

I think I remember somewhere they said it was pretty rare, hopefully that's the case. Not sure how i feel about the self revive. I still think it doesnt belong in a game like this
Ya they would lol, people don't random queue in Tarkov for a reason. Still not a good argument for no friendly fire. In a game where death actually matters for something, why would you want to throw in a variable such as a random teammate? You have no idea what they are loading into that match for.People would just load in and execute their team for loot.
We all know you can buy this type of stuff very easily if so inclined, it's a bad idea simple as that.I think I remember somewhere they said it was pretty rare, hopefully that's the case.
Probably a nightmare lol.At around 2:30 mark: how is inventory management going to work on a controller? Looks like its designed for a m+kb?

Its really good on controller. The virtual cursor works really well. Day and night difference compared to how ARC is on controller when it comes to inventory managementProbably a nightmare lol.
Good to hear for the controller guys. Its really good on controller. The virtual cursor works really well. Day and night difference compared to how ARC is on controller when it comes to inventory management
Kind of does if you follow the thread.I don't think you're answer here addresses the point that the Marathon April alpha wasn't even close to the full, finished game.
Can't tell if this was unfinished or just terrible art direction. Because the reveal trailer was not this desaturated.
Probably because it was in the alpha stage idk though
I'll take that offer.Trust me mate. This game is fire.
If it has the legs or not is a different story but you'll get £40 worth either way.
If you don't like it i will personally refund you the 40.
I didn't offer it to you.I'll take that offer.
Bungie literally wrote this just before releasing the alpha...Kind of does if you follow the thread.
This is what I originally asked in reply to the before/after shot of Overflow on that map:
This is what the response was(sorry to keep pinging you lol)
So I went digging and found out that the visuals from back in April was not due to the game still being in an alpha state, but an actual intentional art direction that they changed based on feedback. So - without the strong negative feedback - the game would have released in September with the visuals we saw in April.
The conversation about whether or not the game was in 'alpha stage' 5 months before release was a separate, but related, conversation.
I get what you are saying and in a perfect world it would be great to have it but I'd take open matchmaking over it any day if the week.Ya they would lol, people don't random queue in Tarkov for a reason. Friendly fire forces teams to communicate, slows down combat a bit. I'm not sure if any explosive type damage hurts friendlies or not, hopefully it does otherwise why not just lob nades and have your teammates rush the enemy as they are forced to fall back.
I said it in the test. All this would be solved if you matchmade into a pre raid looby instead of straight into a match. Or at least have that option.Found this on Reddit. I think it'll be a huge asset for playing without a crew of friends to play with.

I was worried as well. ARC inventory on controller can be rough. Its really good on controller. The virtual cursor works really well. Day and night difference compared to how ARC is on controller when it comes to inventory management
You're getting caught up on the wrong thing because you jumped on the conversation in the middle.Bungie literally wrote this just before releasing the alpha...
It works super well on controller in this game. Its Bungie afterall. You can navigate with a cursor fast and once you learn the buttons to grab, split, drop items etc, its super fastI was worried as well. ARC inventory on controller can be rough.
Not as long but we got another one!
Key Weapon Details:How many weapons are in the game? I've seen quite a lot in the few gameplay videos I've seen.
New 40 min 4k gameplay. Not sure if some embargo dropped or this guy is early lol
Kruzer has some good videos too. Especially the last 3.After watching this I am so happy I am 5 days off when this launches.![]()
Yeah just stanima but the bar goes up instead of down. What does the Heat mechanic do btw? Is that just stamina?
And can all runner kits slide or is that just the one who has it as part of an ability or whatever?
Yup. Vandal gets a boost slide, everyone else's is normal.Yeah just stanima but the bar goes up instead of down.
If i recall correctly everyone can slide.
Like the others here have said, Heat is basically Stamina. What does the Heat mechanic do btw? Is that just stamina?
hah last 2 is greatChatGPT spit out some decent subtitles for the server slam thread.

Yeah there's a class (shell) that has stealth but there's also a counter class that is able to mark enemies on screen, kinda like bloodhound from Apex legends.I thought this game looked like shit, which I expressed here previously. Saw some gameplay this weekend, which turned out to be a good PR move from Bungie because it really caught my attention.
The gameplay looked really tight and I found myself really liking the dirty futuristic vine.
My only worry is if there are invisible "classes", I fucking hate that in shooters.
noticed quite a few haters mention they experience some type of cognitive overload from watching the gameplay, its a skill issue
Wow they're really reaching now LMAOnoticed quite a few haters mention they experience some type of cognitive overload from watching the gameplay, its a skill issue

I'm not sure how stealthy you get though, as in if you completely disappear or if players are still able to see you slightly if you move, etc.
Yeah, while I like the way they made the game look overall, now this game is clearly not for me as I hate stealth.Yeah there's a class (shell) that has stealth but there's also a counter class that is able to mark enemies on screen, kinda like bloodhound from Apex legends.

Yeah, save yourself from all that nonsense. As much as I enjoyed the information of Twitter/X, I just couldn't stand all the ragebaiting nonsense that runs rampant there with those chronically online users. Yeah, when I still had my account that was the best thing to do. It just got to the point where it started happening SO much that I just abandoned ship because it was just exhausting to see people just constantly bitching about everything and nothing, lol.I need to stop engaging with the engagement baiters on X... so many calling for the downfall of this before even trying the free weekend. Again, if it turns out ot be actual dogshit then by all means but I am so tired of all these dorks proclaiming Marathon to be the next Concord... yet in the same breath they will whine about a lack of originality or new experiences in the industry while calling everything slop.
Just muting/blocking accounts on X now, stupid algorithm lol.
The whole game isn't for you because one class has stealth?Yeah, while I like the way they made the game look overall, now this game is clearly not for me as I hate stealth.
"Assassin will be the Best Runner in Marathon"
He must hate Metal gear solid! The whole game isn't for you because one class has stealth?![]()
I mean to be fair an invisible class in a multiplayer game is pretty annoying. It is in arena/hero shooters, let alone an Extraction one where you can lose valuable loot. I just hope it's not as OP and there's ways to detect them even without gadgets or abilities (perhaps have an in-universe explanation that the cloaking tech emits a low buzzing noise or whatever to at least have an auditory detection for when they are completely stationary). He must hate Metal gear solid!
Yeah fair enough. He could play the test to see if it's an issue. Isn't there a class that can see cloaked enemies? I could've sworn I remember the devs saying the faster you move the more you are visible. Also it has the look of the stealth camo from MGS where you can still make out the character. So not 100% invisible, although I'm sure if you play it right and move slow you'll definitely catch people off guard.I mean to be fair an invisible class in a multiplayer game is pretty annoying. They are talking a good game. Lets see how it translates in the real world.
