Scene: A man drives down the street, he's looking for a terrorist who killed his family.
*rap song plays in car* I'm driving down the street / looking for a terrorist / who killed my family
Man answers phone: Hey can I call you back? I'm driving down the street looking for a terrorist who killed my family
And Dakota Fanning. Plenty of child actors that can 'act' like an annoying spoiled brat, very few that won't have you secretly hoping they don't survive the movie. Why are they remaking literally a perfect movie? Denzel Washington is Man On Fire. What retarded shit is this. Are they going to remake Fallen next?
Wasn't he in a good Dark Mirror episode?I've yet to see this guy in anything good. At this point he's a harbinger for bad movies/shows. And it's not like he's a bad actor, he's just consistently in lackluster (to put it nicely) stuff like Candyman and Matrix 4
Looks lame as fuck. Needs that Tony Scott visual flair.
I forgot he was in the gay VR episode. Genuinely one of the worst episodes in the entire series.Wasn't he in a good Dark Mirror episode?
Bro, it wasn't gay. He was a chick in the game.I forgot he was in the gay VR episode. Genuinely one of the worst episodes in the entire series.

But yes thank you for reminding me of another example to add to the list lol
Got this excerpt from the script:
Yeah I should have added "The man is holding a book titled 'How to find the terrorists who killed your family'" to the scene description.![]()

They should have gone with a white main. Closer to the book apparently and people would compare it less to Denzel.
Hoping this ends up like that recent Donald Glover Mr. and Mrs. Smith series where it decided to be more of a complimentary lore-piece that was directed and acted much better than it ever needed to be.Why are they remaking literally a perfect movie? Denzel Washington is Man On Fire. What retarded shit is this. Are they going to remake Fallen next?
Just realized it's the guy from Wonder Man, and yeah he was pretty bad in that.![]()
fuck it, I'm in. The lead has the charisma of a wet blanket but the action looks solid. Not sure about this as a series though, is he gonna rescue and lose her over and over?
There is a massive distinction between 'this isn't for me' and 'this person cannot act'Just realized it's the guy from Wonder Man, and yeah he was pretty bad in that.
There is literally zero difference, because I don't think he's a good actor (granted, really I just mean in that show, the only thing I've seen him in). Doesn't matter whether you or 90% of rotten tomatoes agrees with me or not. There is a massive distinction between 'this isn't for me' and 'this person cannot act'
Because most critics (the show holds around a 90% on Rotten Tomatoes) praised his performance
I too think he was good in that show
LMFAOThere is literally zero differenc
It's all an opinion is my point. There is no objective "this guy can act."LMFAO
It's a major logic fail if you can't tell the difference between 'this isn't for me' and 'this person cannot act'
I'm not even going to engage with this because you're clearly trolling
I dunno man. I'd call it entertainingly bad. For me it's in the same category as the later seasons of 24 where you would load up on a few beers and enjoy the ride. Anyway it's a step up on most modern trash. At least it's fun.So I'm watching this now and it's ok. The lead is VERY miscast though, he has no swagger nor any real intensity, if they limited themselves in casting and didn't consider a more diverse pool of talent, it's really hurting the show. Still, the action is decent. The daughter actress Billie Boullet or whatever, is the real find here. She has the vulnerability, the grit, and the looks to carry the story.
Sadly though, the show is just a pale imitation of things like The Terminal List, which had 1000% the violence and thrills.
