I have no idea. I know i need to lose weight but I have no relief from working 12 hours during busy season. Thank goodness it's almost over. I feel like every godamn seat is just hurting my damn ass and it makes it uncomfortable to work..... It's not even after 5 hours of usage, it's like within 1 hour.

Sorry about your luck with chairs OP, maybe try doing a standing desk instead of getting new chairs? Or a treadmill desk/walking pad, since I find a leisurely walk more comfortable than standing still for hours.

At this point that looks more comfortable. I have a standing desk but it's only temporary relief.

Yea that's how it's supposed to be, stand for a while, sit for a while, etc. You're not supposed to do it for like hours at a time.

The issue I have is that once I sit down, I am in immediate pain. It's like my ass, cocxyx w.e the hell it is is just killing me. It's like I need a better cushion for the ass/hips.

For the Aeron, you are certain you got Size C? You can know for sure by feeling under the lip of the top of the chair. 3 bumps = size C, 2 bumps = B, 1 bump = A.

If you already know about this then ignore me!

I have tried multiple office chairs already and I can't find any that helps my back. I maintain the posture fine it sems but my shoulder/traps and my neck pain are just unbelievable.

So far I have tried the following chairs:
1. Herman Miller Aeron
2. Flexispot C7 Max
3. Steelcase Leap v2 (my current chair) - it has a return period and I am currently evaluating.

WorkPro Quantum 9000. Its expensive, but worth every penny. I've suggested it to 2 other people and they both love it. We all WFH too, so its perfect for that.

I love my Heyworth Fern chair, only chair that I can work in for 8 hours and not feel back pain. My wife loved it so much too that I had to buy her one also. Both of us havn't had back pain sence getting them. Expensive, but they are worth it (and gorgious chairs also)

No, sold off pc and moved 2 times since had the chair would love to use it now if still had it but let it ago a few years back.

I've found most if not all the most popular chair brands like Herman Miller and the like are ridiculously expensive not particularly well built and fucking uncomfortable as hell even after getting professionally adjusted.

I am having a similar issue right now. Buy a new chair with decent padding yet somehow my ass hurts 30 min later. I have several added seat cushions and they do not help much. I did a full day LAN at a friends place and her $600 mesh chair actually was pretty decent. I may buy one myself. You should go to a store with office chairs and try them out. You will likely need to spend over $500 for a decent chair. My boss uses $2000 Herman Miller chair.
