This is a huge move that I think deserves its own thread as I wasn't expecting them to cut off 2nd/3rd party collaborations from PC.

If they are serious about exclusivity again, then I think this is a logical step.I hope Sony pulls its games from other stores as soon as possible!
"No longer available!"![]()
And you will get 0 extra games and the games you get won't be any different.
But enjoy the celebration lol
Also Bluepoint's has been updated from:
"Austin-based studio behind critically-acclaimed remasters and remakes, including The Nathan Drake Collection and Demon's Souls."

No confirmation! We need dedicated press conference while ceo swears on Bible!Day 1 on PC any day now....

Good to see PC ports still coming!Isn't anyone mentioning that Nixxes has changed from:
"The industry-leading Dutch studio with more than 20 years of experience in game development and optimisation."
To..
"Netherlands-based studio with engineering teams specialized in high-quality PC ports, and art and design teams co-developing games with PlayStation Studios worldwide."
So they've gone from not mentioning PC at all, to making a point of it.

It's a bold move from Sony for sure when everyone else is pivoting towards pc. But is it the right one?
Well, their GaaS, like Marathon, and the upcoming Marvel fighter, will be developed for both PC and PS from the get-go, not "ported" to PC. So not really sure what's next for Nixxes.Someone has to port all the gaas games which are still scheduled for pc.

They cant cut second party with already established contracts....Contract? It's a description on a webpage. Check out what Nixxes says.
And I'm not seeing any evidence of cutting off 2nd party from PC. Kena was literally announced a month ago.

What contracts? This is a update on various studio descriptions. With Nixxes going from not mentioning PC at all to now mentioning PC. The contract thing in the title is not true. They cant cut second party with already established contracts....
But they can make the terms for new contracts and games if their strategy pivots and the studios accept.
