Exactly. They still haven't learned they are expensive and do nothing to sell their games?Whenever I see gameplay footage of SAROS I feel good about the game.
The opposite for cutscene footage in the full trailers.
Yeah this will look glorious with pssr2PSSR is confirmed for the game on PS5 Pro.

directional Dash on L1 (which negates most damage while performed), and a bubble-like Shield, the deployment of which is dependent on two things: R1 being held and there being enough power left to sustain it.
Primary fire is mapped to a pull of R2, with an alt-fire mode unique to each weapon chosen through pulling L2 halfway down (a satisfying resistance in the adaptive trigger signifying activation), with a trigger of R2 to unleash.
I wouldn't count it out completely. They eventually added co-op to Returnal in a free update. No multiplayer took this off my radar.
When/if they do I'll consider get the discounted version.I wouldn't count it out completely. They eventually added co-op to Returnal in a free update.

From the blog - "There's an arresting visual shift to a level's visual design as the corruption takes hold (which extends to the audioscape – worth sticking on a headset for!), and enemies now fire out additional projectile types – sickly yellow versions which if you're struck by, lowers your max health ceiling. Increased risk? Certainly. But with it comes increased rewards, making it worth rolling the dice for a more dangerous world."The stationery (eventually rising) yellow orbs with little tails are weird. They don't seem to damage you when running through them.
Putting this on the gamefly queue, really hoping that difficulty adjustment mechanism is worth it
In for that delicious chocolate man Rahul Kohli.
I'm not.Don't bother then.
Looks great, but Ill wait for the PC launcher version.
Nah but It's a safe bet in my opinion. Is this a confirmed thing now?

Game seems just as short as the first one and this being easier makes it even shorter sadlyReturnal was missing 2 things Hades had that I wanted.
Better meta progression(just like Hades) and better story/pacing(just like Hades).
If they could pull that off, it would be...a perfect game.
To be fair, an average Hades run only takes 20 minutes once you know the levels and get most of the upgrades.Game seems just as short as the first one and this being easier makes it even shorter sadly

Hades is that long with 30 minute runs. Its all about how long the runs are. Most roguelikes have multiple times the content of returnal and probably saros. I wouldnt even call them roguelikes tbh. These are one and done games with the storyI don't think anyone wants a 40 or 60 hour Rogue-like game. Nobody is asking for that.
As someone who needs games to have 20+hrs of content to justify spending 70$, I make a rare exception with Returnal or Saros. Just because the replay ability is so high. I just hope for meaningful NG+ cyclesGame seems just as short as the first one and this being easier makes it even shorter sadly
Indeed I've made this mistake a few times thinking "oh it won't come" and it does SM2 , DS2, GOWR etc.I said the same thing when they started all the porting like 5 years ago.
Did you reach Ascension mode?Game seems just as short as the first one and this being easier makes it even shorter sadly
The UI's disabled so can't check that for the reddened health bar but it just looks like the players avoiding moving yellow projectiles but charging straight into the dormant orbs. From the blog - "There's an arresting visual shift to a level's visual design as the corruption takes hold (which extends to the audioscape – worth sticking on a headset for!), and enemies now fire out additional projectile types – sickly yellow versions which if you're struck by, lowers your max health ceiling. The trick is to just suck at them. Took me like 10 hours to beat the first biome in Returnal. tbf we did pass around the controller some. But I'm still on biome 3 with like 40 hours played or so.
So Returnal does hold your save this way? So you don't have to beat the whole thing in one seating?
Correct. And let me say, the in game story justification for making biome 4 the new starting point? Chef's kiss. When it happened, I said "Holy shit... That's amazing..."You can only save your current run, and it opens shortcuts to the other biomes. I hear it gets a lot easier once you beat biome 3 and get the weapon that unlocks in biome 4. Plus I think biome 4 becomes the new starting point. I just haven't got there yet.
