If you could go on any game show, what would it be?

I'd like to go on wheel of fortune. Seems like it would be fun. Wonder if there is anyone here that would do really well on Jeopardy.

Unless I was unlucky enough to have to play Super Ghouls N Ghosts. Fuck that.

I dont know what the actual gameshow is called but I know it only as.... takeshis castle
Takeshi Castle, it's gacha game in real life : ))
There is new series at some point in 2024 I think

The game is hard, but i heard some people managed to finish it.
when I saw fallguys at the first time, i see Takeshi castle in video game form

Who Wants to be a Millionare?
The older format though from the early 2000s.

My expectation is that I would do ok. In reality I'd probably go viral for a really stupid answer.

I don't know how my wheel spinning skills are, but I'm generally really good at the puzzle solving aspect.

Jeopardy without question. I get quite a lot of them right.

No joke, I got a final jeopardy recently without seeing the "answer." It was just a few weeks ago. The category was 20th century movie memorabilia. As soon as they announced that category I said "Rosebud." It was a guess of course, but I couldn't think of what else would be a more iconic image to ask about. Sure enough, that was the "question." I was really happy about that. :-P

There is a guy doing an all-time run right now, Jamie Ding. I think he is ranked 6th or so currently on the best all time performances. He's really sharp and fun to watch.

Well, talk about a question designed just for me.. Starcade! This into music just puts me right where I need to be

I seriously considered applying to be a contestant on Survivor.

Pros: they never had a crazy French Canadian.

Cons: I'm a middle aged white dude.

What gives me pause isn't the challenges or the social game it's the sleeping on bamboo & eating 1 cup of rice a day for 26 days thing 🤔

That's an easy one. The Price is Right w/Bob Barker. I still watch the reruns on the local television network to this day. Love seeing all the oldschool cars and things they gave out back then. "A new VCR!!" OR hearing that classic "yodle" song in the "Cliffhanger" game.

"Plinko" is a good one too. Haha good times

Wipeout, if I were 10 years younger. Always looked like a fun physical challenge.

Also Jeopardy, but my brain don't work so good no more.

The first thing that popped into my head was The Running Man. Which is a little concerning.
The actual book style of Running Man I think would be pretty cool, minus the killing part. But trying to stay on the run with nightly check ins for a month would be a hell of an experience.

For me it would have been Remote Control

even better if Kari Wuher (then, or now, really) is hostess!

Jeopardy for me as well. We watch it nightly. Same final jeopardy occurrence happened to us, when it was 60s British Novels or something like that and my wife guessed 'A clockwork orange' before the answer. This Jamie guy is doing great but his final jeopardy wagering is limiting his money. When he bets big, he keeps getting the wrong, and when it's a smaller/moderate bet, he gets them right. Early on it seemed like he was targeting breaking the top 10 in one game ranking, but seems to have settled down.

We had a game show in Australia like that (based off a UK game show) called Hunted.

But my immersion was continuously broken when you're watching contestants hiding in bushes along a street in metropolitan Melbourne, knowing full well there's a crew conspicuously aiming shoulder-mounted cameras at them :messenger_tears_of_joy:
