No Space Marine 2?

That could would be fantastic on Switch 2.

Would love to see Planet Zoo and Planet Coaster as well to make use of the mouse function.

Since the Xbox platform is dead, I can see devs targeting switch 2 to get more sales. Will suck for PlayStation guys that complained about the Series S though.

Haven't seen it mentioned on GAF yet but supposedly Fire Emblem Fortune"s Weave got a PEGI rating of 12+ as of April 12th, so that is for sure coming out this year without a delay.

Wait Silent Hill 2 remake is completely out of the question? Fuck.

Huh? Why would it be completely out of the question?

This isn't a list of every game that will ever come to the Switch 2, just of games that have been officially announced, leaked by developers/ratings boards, or rumored by Nate the Hate.

It's not even a comprehensive list of every game rumored to be coming to the platform, in spite of the title, though I don't mind the fact that rumors from less reputable sources have been omitted.

I don't understand the want for buying 3rd party anything on this system. I see it as a massive waste of money and frankly I question the mental health of gamers.

Maybe, MAYBE I could understand if this is the one and only system you can afford. But posts here on Neogaf seem to suggest double dipping mentality.

edit-having posted all that, I have never played a Starfox and would like to check it out.

because you guys make minimal trivial graphical differences into mountains does not mean a game isn't as enjoyable with a few lower settings.

This is a really shitty take. Questioning people's mental health for buying third party games on Switch? Seriously what the fuck is wrong with you? Perhaps your mental health should be questioned seeing how narrow minded you are.

Shitty take or not, I don't understand it. I'm seriously asking if people only have this one system. If so why are you double dipping on games? It's a waste of money to do so.

I just like to have some other games alongside my game library on my funny portable Nintendo system
Is that not enough?

There is a lot of factors to why you would choose to buy games for Switch. It shouldn't be that hard to understand, but here we are. It's called preference. It could be the hybrid nature, the portability, small form factor, low power draw, ease of use etc. It's not all about best graphics and fidelity. With Switch 2 it's even less so since the differences today between games aren't that noticeable like it was in the past.

Also, who the fuck are you to judge people how they like to spend their money? If people want to double dip then let them. It's their prerogative. Has nothing to do with their mental health. Maybe they have the money to do so and it doesn't affect their economy. Stop being so fucking narrow minded and start see things from other people's perspective instead of your own. Not everyone here games or buys games under the same circumstances as you.

OK, I take it back, what I said about mental health.

I'm only going to buy the 1st party stuff on the Switch. Pretty crazy right?

Considered the series X version is available from awhile and Chronos already on switch 2 seems Silent Hill 2 for switch 2 is not even on the plan by Konami, "for now" if it make you feel better.

In terms of perfomance I highly doubt especially after played RE9 also on switch 2.

I'm not saying it's coming. I'm just saying that the idea that it's "completely off the table" isn't a conclusion you can draw from the list in the OP.

If your reason for saying that it was off table is the availability of the Series port, then it's a weird non sequitur within the context of this thread.

I much prefer playing JRPGs/SRPGs on a portable system. Some people prefer portable systems over playing on a TV. Plus with Switch, you can do both obviously.

I've explained it before on here, but here we go again.
My personal case. I have two kids, a two year old and a six month old with down syndrome. There is no time to play games at home on workdays (or even at the weekend at daytime) besides getting up at 2 or 3 in the morning and play before work. I've done that now for the past three or four months and lived on three to four hours of sleep. It wrecks you, believe me. Since I'm in a calorie deficit to burn fat and want to build muscle again after that... I need more sleep for both and for my sanity frankly, so my game time is often limited to my breaks at work... In comes the switch, the switch 2 and the steam deck... And all of them saved my hobby.
I question your mental health for not understanding that there are other cases than your own very limited world view :messenger_peace:

I've been through 2 kids myself. I understand. My biggest beef is with the double dipping. Buying games a second time on the Switch is what I'm beefing about. It's not about portable, It's not about graphical compromise, It's about wasting money buying 3rd party games twice that gets my goat. I should edit my post to reflect that but I've made my bed with my stupid mental health comment and now I deserve to suffer.

Oh, now I understand you better. The mental health comment is fine if you really think that, no harm in that... Suffering is optional, but it can help :messenger_grinning_sweat:
But... If I played a game on PS5 and I still want to be able to play it, I have to double dip in my case. Even without that, there are other reasons.
I bought no man's sky on PS4 physical, then on PC (gog) when it came out. First of the new consoles for me was a series X and I still actively played NMS, so I bought it again. Got a PS5 and bought it digitally. When I got a switch 1 I bought NMS physical for it and later sold it. Got a switch 2 and bought it again. Got a steam deck and bought it again on PC (Steam)

So that is 7 versions I bought of a game I played for thousands of hours. Good way to support these Devs. But it happened with other titles I'm not even that fond of for other reasons.

So, in your view, I must be a complete lunatic :messenger_beaming: which is fine for me...But still, there are always other cases and circumstances in life for other people outside ones own beliefs.

But enjoy your one time purchases, it's definitely the smarter thing to do money wise

I get what you're saying, but: 1. I think a lot of people who double dip on Switch games wait until they're deeply discounted on the eShop (which happens pretty regularly with third-party titles) and 2. we're getting more day and date releases on the Switch 2 (even if we're also still getting a lot of old ports), so that's making it easier to choose the Switch 2 version at launch if portability is a major selling point for you.

If Hi-fi Rush isn't announced by (or in) the next Direct, I'm officially worried. Krafton needs an easy W.

Can't believe Kena and South of Midnight were both announced and released before Hi-fi Rush.

I don't have time to sit in front of the tv, nor having a stable connection in the train. So during my 1 hour of commute time, the best option I have is to play on my Switch 2. Hence the 3rd party games being played on it.

It's just gaming differently.

I'm very interested on Fire Emblem. One of those games I always wanted to try. We'll see.

Now when it comes to rumours and "leaks" I'll belive them when I see them.
