I hope this means SEGA getting the Ferrari rights back, and we can look forward to an Outrun 2 Tours being ported perfectly with all the extras from the home versions
How the fuck can they mention SeGaGaGa and Guardian Heroes but not Phantasy Star (the proper one, not the online one) and Panzer Dragoon? Come on, Sega.
Don't forget Shining Force...
As always, SEGA is not putting any ambition behind those revivals (I mean for 90s games).
A RPG needs a high budget, so of course they're not going to care about classic Phantasy Star, Shining Force or Panzer Dragoon Saga.
Only (cheap) remakes and 2D budget games. That's all they have in store for you, fanboys.

That was my face when I read the words "future projects" guardian heroes 2? new bangai-O? new alien soldier with 4K pixel art ( hopefully pixel art for GH2 aswell)? all new games from treasure? count me in.
If it's a new game I hope it's better than the GBA's, it wasn't nearly as good (but I do think the lanes system has to go for the freeform movement as in other beat 'em ups and in that GBA game). I wouldn't mind if it was fully 2D like Capcom's D&D arcade game duo (and got more RPG elements).
A straight port for PC & current consoles would be nice, maybe with something similar to the HD zoom the added to Samurai Shodown collection, if possible.
Not nearly enough of that and tends to skip a gen (although in recent times we got some so called Saturn tribute stuff it was third party, 2D, arcade ports/shmups etc.), it's Genesis that kept getting rereleased all the time (but again seemingly the same dozen of games). DC only got brief/little love.
And even their arcades only really get love within the Yakuza series (which is pretty damn great while you're playing through those if you're a fan but of course having to have all the games installed and fire them up for the different arcade games in each one isn't very user friendly) and little else
It kinda blows my mind that they went head to head with Nintendo for 2 decades and still fumble so much. You'd think by now they'd follow Nintendo's footsteps in their own way and be a powerhouse again, at least in terms of software.
