FORZA HORIZON 6 has made over $140 Million from the Premium Edition and Surpasses 1 Million Players Before Launch

First, you have to be a victim of today's most radical consumerism, and second, you have to have money to burn or value it very little to spend €120 just to avoid waiting a few days. It's insane... and there are people who can't make ends meet.

That said, everyone is entitled to their own money, but this isn't healthy.
Bro are you retarded? You get both expansions (which are substantial and historically speaking they are usually pretty great), essentially all future content they will release for this game over the next 5 years.

It's not just to play 4 days early lmfao

Plus a bunch of stuff ingame, including one of the main houses free that costs 3mil ingame. After about 12 hours of playing i have about 1.8mil cash.

Imagine the numbers when they would have not included pronouns and genders

Insane how out of all Xbox franchises, Forza Horizon is basically the only guaranteed AAA Killer app they have left...If they weren't in such a bad shape they could have kept it exclusive to the console.

If its like the other versions then you'll get the base game for free before they delist it if you buy the premium edition upgrade.
That works too lol, but that's my general strategy with gpu day 1 games that I want/like. Buy the premium upgrade for the base game at x and then buy the base game for like $20 when its old since most games are not given for free when delisted/leave gamepass. Day 1 ult ed games at a big discount.

Premium Edition's are such BS.

You can call it "early" release, but it's really the actual release. If you aren't willing to pay over MSRP, you have to wait longer than everyone else is to get started.

The only retard here is u that can't answer with respect. He can have his opinion. It is a forum afterall and not the purple one.

I don't really like these early releases, think it's a bit explorative.

Having said that, would 100% be doing it for GTA6, if they did similar.

So what do I know.

There's no price on a hobby.

I spent $90 on the RE Requiem special edition and since beating that game a bunch of times, that special edition steel book is just sitting pretty on the shelf. I wouldn't do that for 95% of other games but ya know .. everyone has their one thing.

You also get the expansions so normally if you know you are going to buy them down the line it's not really much more. Speaking of which - are the expansions going to be a lot more this time out, the premium upgrade gave me sticker shock and I decided to pass but if they end up being $25 or $30 I may end up regretting it. One will probably be a drift expansion though I guess, and I would happily pass on that - drifting challenges are my least favorite part of any driving game.

One of the features I thought id never even give a damn about was the Garage/Home customization.
But after seeing some of the creations online.

These fuckers got me.......this is now an Interior Design simulator.
I thought the Fashion hunter community was wild, but I think Interior Designer Horizon 6 is gonna be blowing up.

That's one of the reasons I refunded it on Steam.

I think I'll be happier with the standard edition and decide on passes later if I'm still playing it (which I doubt)

Is it litterally the Japan meme? 😅

There is much less writing which means much less cringe.

THIS IS MY TIO'S VW BEETLE lets do 20 races in it where I don't shut the fuck up and yap in your ear

I have seen absolutely none of this in like 6 hours of playing

And the events are much improved. That Ford RS200 race on the piers was so sick.

I'm passing on the ultimate edition for two reasons. One, because it's expensive AF and two, because it bundles the VIP membership with it, which, IMO makes progression too easy. And as far as I can tell there's no way to disable it.

If I wasn't disappointed in the DLC expansions for FH5, I would've boughten into early access. Stupid fuckin hot wheels.

I'll jump in with the rest of the cheap asses next week. Can't wait.

I know everybody's going to complain as consumers don't like to pay more but here's the early access truth that this shows:

If they do increase the base price, there's a backlash from a vocal minority and companies investing hundreds of million of dollars like to be SAFE first. That's why they don't and often step back. Why risk backlash and potentially reduced sales when they can both technically increase prices while keeping their investment safe/base price the same.

However, my opinion is that this is how the base price should have increased(instead of the same price 2006-2020), to keep singleplayer AAA market happy and healthy especially in America. Consumers would have paid if it was something they actually wanted to buy and could spend a 100 hours in.

I do hope Nintendo doesn't go this sneaky route and just increases the base price instead, keeping it fair for everyone. I imagine Sony WILL go this route, death stranding 2 was already 80 dollars in early access.

MS release strategy is all over the place. This is the second studio that plans to release 2 brand new games ( FH6 and Fable) in the same year after Obsidian with (Avowed and OW2)

The difference is the specific games that are releasing. Forza and fable are an infinitely more attractive proposition than OW2 and Avowed. Like, it's not even close.

Yes, this is true. I never buy these high-priced editions but i briefly considered it here because i bought both DLCs for Horizon 4 and 5. I ultimately decided against it because i'm a patient person and i like to see what i'm buying first as a general principle. Grabbing the standard tomorrow though.
