Obviously, it was a pricing mistake. These fuckers with 128GB of RAM sells for minimum of $3500 after tax. I paid less than $1500. I was like, the worst thing that'll happen is that I get my money back from Bezos.

I get delivery estimate for 2ish weeks, then notification of shipped item from seller. Noice!

I keep checking over several days, and it has now gone from shipper, to Shenzen shipping facility, then to Hong Kong export warehouse. Oh nan! It's actually coming?!?

Then the shoe drops. I get an email from Bezos Emporium. The seller just delisted from entire Amazon. The email said if I dont get my product within 3 days of promised date, I need to file for return of my money.

Ki da expected something like this, but when I check the shipping company, the item is still in route! They shipped SOMETHING.

So the question is, WHAT'S IN THE BOX?

OMG is that a possibility? LOL
Yes, it is a possibility, but they will likely have to wait for the item to be considered lost. Delisting the item is a serious red flag and very much works in your favor.

I'd start talking to support right away and express your concerns. Having a ticket before hand can help you.

Chances are that other people reported on them and Amazon excluded the guy

They could have sent you something, but maybe is really just a dud

Also, don't be a smart ass. You said yourself that the price is way below market, so don't do those kind of things unless is a personal deal which the other person also knows it's below market

Bro, I was bored and didn't mind letting Amazon hold my $1500 for two weeks. LOL

Jensen Huang's puckering asshole, kissing Mark Zuckerburg's asshole as an action figure holding 2 RAM sticks being shoved into each other. Congrats OP.

Ordering a pre-build pc from amazon.

I have no words….

Way back when the 1080gtx was the new hotness and the bitcoin mining craze was first kicking off I found an open box prebuilt pc on Amazon with a 1080 in it.
Open box item was $1400, the 1080 alone was going for almost a grand on the secondary market at that point. I said "fuck it" and pulled the trigger.
Pc arrives and the 1080 is like completely pulled from the motherboard, hanging on by only a handful of unbroken pins.
I inform Amazon that the pc is broken, box it back up, and ship it back. They say a replacement isn't possible because it was an open box discount and I said cool.
A week later brand new pc arrives and works like a dream. They sent me like a $2500 unopened pc to replace the other one. I was never contacted to pay the difference or anything.

Lmao, I bought that pc to future-proof myself for Star Citizen, and that pc has long since given up the ghost.

I remember those days when Amazon went overboard to win over customers with Uber Service!

Now they will give you your money back but might slap you around with its big dick a few times first. LOL

No you dont, but i would at least look for an reliable online retailer or better a local retailer to buy a prebuild mini pc.
A random amazon seller does not seem to be the best idea.
Local mini PC retailer? Did you accidentally portal into our shitty universe?

I kinda feel you, but chances are, im getting a box of poop...

Check out Minisforum. Pretty cool MiniPC's if you're into that stuff.

I'm just trying to understand what made you go through with it.

You saw the trap and stepped right into it anyway.

I would record unboxing video, show untempered seal etc etc - incase there are bags of rice in there or something. I keep doing that with all the expensive items lately.

"QUAD 8K DISPLAY" made me laugh, it doesnt even have four video outputs, can a USB-C do dual 8K outputs? Who knows.

Good luck with that pal

They are sending you a photo of Xi Jin Ping and a certified vial of his bath water

I've had that happen on Aliexpress - one where something went missing in the mail - filed for a refund - then a month later item turned up. I've also had Aliexpress cancel my order outright saying it couldn't be filled and then a month later - item showed up anyway.
