I do wonder what has happened to young men.

I see it in the gym all the time. Young men complementing their friends on the "sculpt" of their bodies, their jawlines, smooth skin. A few of them even do this naked in the changing rooms. They just look up and down at their naked friend and give tips on how to reach "perfection". Creeps me out. I know for a fact one of them that does this isn't gay as he's dating my friends daughter.

So... you watch the guy who is dating your friend's daughter naked in the changing room while he looks at other dudes naked in the changing room?

Maybe he's bi then? Or hiding something. No straight guy should be complementing other guys on specifics of their physicality to that degree. It's completely and undeniably homoerotic.

I must go to a gym with a lot of gay/bi men all in their early 20s because a majority of them are at it. A few of them like to strut around the changing room naked for no reason as well. Just doing laps while checking themselves out in the mirror. I also get naked in the changing room after a shower, but I don't strut around naked for five minutes then stop to lick my lips in the mirror.

It can be funny looking at a group of five young guys completing each other on the size of their pecs and delts and pulling out the tape measure, but also creepy at the same time.

No, I'm just in there to get changed, but it's hard not to notice when you walk into the changing room and confronted with it.

I've been lifting weights and natural body building for 20 years. This was never part of the culture before. Not that I remember anyway.

Nah. Never messed around with that. Maybe that's why I never experienced it.

I've always been a lone wolf at the gym. I prefer working out alone. It means I can get my session done in around 90 minutes.
