Fat chance. I'm replaying it for the 5th time now on a 5080 and its crazy how shit it runs at times. We really are too lenient with FROM for their absolute dogshit engine.I hope that the game optimizations also comes to others platforms.
Yes, i don't have high hopes for the Switch 2 version neither…Fat chance. I'm replaying it for the 5th time now on a 5080 and its crazy how shit it runs at times. We really are too lenient with FROM for their absolute dogshit engine.
$80 for GKC. Yeah....
I hope that the game optimizations also comes to others platforms.
Later previews were much more positive from what I saw, but unsure if it's running flawlessly. Guess we'll find out soon enough, lol.Does it still run like shit or did they fix that?
They delayed it to fix that so we'll see soon enoughDoes it still run like shit or did they fix that?
I have never given them a pass. I had to play the ps4 digital version on a PS5 to get 60fps. They just do not care about framerate I thinkFat chance. $80 for a 4 year old game (although great) that comes with a 30FPS experience... yeah I'm out.
I'm pretty curious to think what would take the game to look like to run at 60FPS on Switch 2.
That's a Fromsoft decision… Probably we are going to have a gameplay trailer.why announces now why not wait for the direct????
Duskbloods is vaporware until further notice IMO.y'all know that this means dusk blood is push back to 27 due to GTA right
$80 it better be locked 30fps can't they port the ps4 version to Switch 2 for this. 1080p 30fps isn't much to ask.
Also, the decision to not include this announcement in the Direct? Interesting...Idk, feels like this could've been handled better all around.
It happens. Not so much after the DLC.When does ER get some deep discounts. Already bought it twice but still want it on Steam.
Cmon, we are talking about From software... they are one of the worst devs on pure tech aspect... :-DWhat is the fuck did they do all this time?
How low on the give a fuck scale is this game?
Includes all the expansions.$80 is rough, not gonna lie
With Nintendo's track record on 3DS and Switch this will 100% work with no issues. They have game suspension working no matter what from my experience. One of my favourite things to be able to do.The thing that will keep me from buying the game is if I can't just put the game to sleep, and when I turn my switch 2 back on, I can't pick up where I left off.
This feature didn't work on the Xbox or PS.
Unless the game requires a constant internet connection like a live service game (e.g Fortnite/Overwatch), then sleep mode shouldn't disable the game. The thing that will keep me from buying the game is if I can't just put the game to sleep, and when I turn my switch 2 back on, I can't pick up where I left off.

Nope, whatI like about FROM games almost all their games can be played completely offline.Unless the game requires a constant internet connection like a live service game (e.g Fortnite/Overwatch), then sleep mode shouldn't disable the game.
Absolutely, but at this point it would have taken some wind out of its sails. There still could be a trailer in the Direct that reiterates the release date. If they're also going to date Duskbloods during the Direct, they might have wanted to give Elden Ring a little extra breathing room.
Yup, and how I play the majority of my games, I'm constantly putting my SW2 to sleep and waking it up.With Nintendo's track record on 3DS and Switch this will 100% work with no issues. They have game suspension working no matter what from my experience. One of my favourite things to be able to do.
The NBA2K series can't be put to sleep and woken up, if in the middle of a game. Fucking GaaS. They lost my business forever now.Unless the game requires a constant internet connection like a live service game (e.g Fortnite/Overwatch), then sleep mode shouldn't disable the game.
In fact, because of the Switch 2s nature as a portable (quick jump in/out sessions) many games have to work around the sleep mode and no internet connectivity and will simply advise you to turn communications back on but won't ever stop your gaming session. Many Ubisoft games function like that. Hopefully Elden Ring won't have this issue.
And the dlc is still $40 on steamIncludes all the expansions.
The price is right, the issue is going to be the technical aspect of the game…And the dlc is still $40 on steam
Its honestly no different than spending $80 on kirby or mario wonder. The price is right, the issue is going to be the technical aspect of the game…
Oh wow, even during Single player, offline CPU matches?? If so, yea, that is lame as hell. The NBA2K series can't be put to sleep and woken up, if in the middle of a game. Fucking GaaS. They lost my business forever now.
