I'm usually not a fan of remakes but I heard that this RE has a lot of issues and I haven't played the game yet. So I'll just play the remake if they do an actual good job

It was a great game back in the day... but it has aged terribly. Worse than any other mainline RE I'd say (meaning, even the PSone entries).
