it looks like gyro aiming is the only way to play Time Crisis on PS5 PS4 and it's terrible I hope they patch on a way to use your controller like a regular PS1

Really wish there was a way to get a light gun back + the flash per shot. It needs to feel impactful

I played something else, i forget what- with a PS move and all it felt like was i was aiming a mouse at the screen.

Light gun games are very good to play with a drawing tablet on PC.

Of course it doesn't feel like using a gun, but purely for playing light gun games I prefer it much more than a mouse for example. Very precise also

i do not know on the ps1 you can use the stick I have no idea why they took that out of the emulated version

last update I have a theory why you can only use the digital pad and not the stick
whether you have gyro aiming on or not the game always Boots the gun con mode and not controller mode
there's no setting to change it to a controller mode it's always in gun con mode

I would buy 2 guncons immédiately to play Lightgun games with my daughter if they would find a way to get it working. I have such good memories of it from back in the day. It's also the only way to play these games.

I was pleasantly surprised with how well the gyro aiming worked for me. I'm managing to pull off head shots with relative ease.

Pressing the triangle button at any time during the game resets the aiming back to the centre of the screen if it starts to wander off.

I think it would work better for me if you were able to turn sensitivity down

I think the gyro works wonderfully with Time Crisis, there is simply no better alternative unless you want to dig up an old crt and guncons. Had lots of fun with it last night using the gyro controls.

I disagree; the gyro's accuracy is good in this new version and better than using sticks. The only problem with it is that seems to centre only when the controller is flat or fully horizontal.

But I agree that there should be an option to use sticks for people who want to.

yeah basically the ROM is in guncon mode the entire time and there's no way to switch it to just controller mode

yes you hit the triangle button but it really doesn't really work that well

I remember buying a real arcade PS1 lightgun for this game that had the same recoil effect as the arcade. You actually had to plug it into an electrical outlet. Came with the pedal too.
