Yeah the lod terrain model is very ugly even by last gen standards, which is quite jarring comparing to rest of the footage. Seems like these Sony studios still don't know anything about how to handle lod properly even for a linear game. And what if the game is filled with lots of open areas and bigger explorable space? Stuff like this definitely ain't gonna cut it

This is a next gen game through and through, I love the consequences of everything. They're literally embedded into the actual game itself.

Store shop clerk raised the prices of everything in store by 80% for the player, because she dislikes him. LOL (based off prior player choices and reputation)

You can hire anybody to work at one of your shops, every building can be bought.

NPC's go to work, have jobs, are criminals, etc. 1000 hand crafted, fully voiced NPCs

Game looks very ambitious. I can forgive a missing texture or 2. Game still looks like a premiere current gen title, however.

Althought i like all of these features, i hope they made the same effort for all the other gamey aspects like combat, movements etc.

Hopefully this doesnt turn into a city management game with the occasional quest or dungeon to visit, not sure if i'm clear.

of course light coming from magic light asource but it's clearly bleeding and scutter through the hands skin rather than flat appearance on skin surface and have exactly same effect like fable and UC4 that you shared above notiing that uc4 have direct light source through window behind nathan head, so I think the pictures I put is clear evidence for SSS, if their are other techniques that give this effect you or brothers here can tell me about it?

Lighting should be leaking through fingers if there was SSS on the skin, I don't see it here. Just a direct light coming to some parts of the hand.

Hfw continue to be the gold standard for npcs chitchats for action rpg and it's probably not gonna change until w4 or h3.

GI looked kinda iffy though. Shaded areas outdoors looked quite flat.
