I was able to get the game to work. The issue was that despite the game crossing the arbitrary 'ready to play' installation threshold, the game wouldn't start until it was 100% complete.
In other good news, the main character also gets a different haricut after some chapters in the game.
The bad news is that it's this fucking man-bun.
Other than that, some quick impressions.
- The biggest sin of the game is that it's boring.
- It feels like A Plague Tale style but with even less of a budget
- There is a horrendous sharpening filter on the image that can't be disabled
- The game has a single 30fps mode, no Performance. The frame rate also drops to the mid teens during cut-scenes or so it feels.
