Imagine looking at this and thinking to yourself "yeah, I wanna spend money so I can look like that"

I'm only surprised this is the first. I checked out of Blizzard games almost entirely a while back.

Edit: oh, I misread. The character has been around. Just the first skin.

I don't care if it is nonbinary. It is ugly. It is funny when companies try to stereotype a group of people. There are a lot of lesbians that are not bald and non-binary people that do not have pink/purple hair. If I was in a protected group, I would probably be more offended by how they represent me than if they did not represent me at all.

🤦‍♂️it's so bizarre, we've seen the sort of advice these companies get from consultants on things like this (via the insomniac hack/leak), and it explicitly says "do not make the characters diversity their entire character", yet that's what these companies keep bloody doing…in this case they've made their non binary manifest in the visual design itself, it's the opposite of what they are told to do, and it just pisses people off…I can't imagine non binary people would be thrilled by this either.

I'm autistic and adhd, and if they announced "here's our first AuDHD character" and they flew around on a giant hovering fidget spinner, their costume was a puzzle piece in the colors of the autism flag, they wore headphones, and flapped their hands, and their special move was called "hyper focus", I would feel like they were 100% taking the piss. This is what this character comes across as.

Maybe there's someone here that's non binary and can weigh in.

Blizzard has a 'tool' they use for their characters:

I think it's safe to say that their view on this differs from companies like Insomniac.

This would be a premium skin in Concord's Season 2. It's a plethora of woke tokens smashed together:

- Ugly + black (no pretty blacks in the non-racist world of wokies)

- Amorphous body

- Purple orgy

- A fucking giant vibrator as weapon

This is the art for the character. It actually looks great IMO. That specific skin in the OP, on the other hand? It's garish and awful. I don't understand how that was greenlit.

Its hilarious that the Japanese can effortlessly make gender bending look awesome but the west just can't for the life of them. Nahobino had a look in and out of his Demon form that if they didn't explictly say he was a guy he'd a perfect example of just making a character for both genders.
