I think the equivalent comparison for us in the US would be native american, hispanic immigrant, and black girls, who DO get trafficked/SAed a TON, but the difference is the perps are from their own communities.

This is a rejection of complexity. People can be victims in one sense and victimize others in another sense. One does not give you right to the other. Justice is not some kind of equilibrium in a person's life where you overlook their atrocities because of others that they have experienced.
If refugee status from a lawless place is a form of justice by granting them residence in a lawful place, then it would be an injustice to then allow that place to be lawless in regard to themselves. Holding them to the same standards of law and behavior is what it means to treat them equally with dignity and grant them a lawful home. They should face the exact same investigation and sentences for crimes as the natives who commit them.
Furthermore, even if you want to play completely softball and absolutely refuse to treat these as crimes and rather some kind of crazy misunderstanding or need for education, then where is the effort? You can't argue in court that someone rapes girls because it is the culture of his homeland and he hasn't adjusted to yours while putting up absolutely zero effort towards helping people of said homeland learn and adjust to the expectations of your nation proactively so these things don't happen.
Yet further still, if you are going to treat them with zero respect by holding them to the same behavioral expectations as a pack of baboons, allowed to run about doing whatever they will and only blame their victims for not being careful and getting entangled with them, then where is the effort for education of girls to identify and stay away from these traps where they will be gang raped and them blamed for it happening? Shouldn't preventative education and guidance of the girls at least be a rock-bottom level of effort to prevent these things from happening?
By doing nothing and then looking the other way and throwing out cultural explanations as if they can be excuses and blaming the victims, the authorities do nothing but play accessory to the organized crime.
I have seen far too much of this sort of thing. Not only in this news but also stuff here and even stuff within my personal circles in life. For whatever reason modern culture has led to an immense amount of passivity towards exploitative people that end up becoming enabling if not outright partnership in the crimes. The people playing such roles almost always view themselves as innocent because they see the incidents as somehow unavoidable, as though because they do happen in life that they have to, as if we can't do anything about it at all.
It has been absolutely maddening in my life, especially in knowing victims who don't even receive understanding or consolation from others. Rather they are expected to accept some stupid notion like "Everything happens tor a reason" without ever even offering a suggestion of what that reason might be. No. I reject that. Justice can exist. We can prevent many of these things and we can most definitely ensure that anyone we catch committing them can never do so again.

One of the craziest parts of this whole thing is that some of these girls were raped and then forced into Sharia marriages inside the UK. It's insane that is even possible, but what's worse is they are still there. I can't believe no one is saving them from the living hell they are in.

If we ever reach a point where we have a parliament & government that's genuinely aligned with supporting mass deportation (unlikely any time soon, as the political process is being very heavily manipulated from the top) those sorts of people (legal challengers and plane blockers) will very robustly be told to sit down and stfu.

I think this is an oversimplification, just as others criticizing multiculturalism. Islam has 2 billion people, so if it was just Islam being this way by default then the whole world would be unabated chaos. However, they are pulling people from areas where there is poverty, war, radicalization, and a history of offenses by the UK against it. You would have to be a total moron to think you won't end up bringing in radicalized people who feel they need to get revenge against your country.
So I think this is actually a failure of multiculturalism because an essential component of that is UNDERSTANDING each culture. It does NOT mean giving blanket acceptance and approval to anything at all from any culture but rather understanding that each one has strengths and weaknesses and histories with grievances from enemies and shared agendas with allies and being realistic about that and holding everyone to the same principles of accountability, respect, justice, and self-responsibility.
If you do not do this, if you hand-wave atrocities as "different culture" then you are not viewing or expecting of them the same dignity that you do other peoples. You are saying that craven acts of violence and criminal plotting is just what they are. That is a racist position that would come to all the same results as the colonial offenses that built such a disdain between parties in the first place, just like ignoring the cries of victims spins up vigilante action and blanket race-based solidarity response.
So I would say these results are actually a huge failure at the principles of liberalism. They are racist and classist, holding different peoples to different standards, and completely giving up on the possibility of understanding each other or living up to shared foundational ideals and principles. This really needs to be pressed with everyone protecting the criminals. By overlooking or downplaying their crimes as cultural difference, you are dehumanizing them, acting as though such a nature needs to be accepted because one ought to expect less of people like them. All I know is the Toronto area is a huge mix of people. But for the most part you dont get huge crime, or all these UK rape gangs etc.... You get crime, but not to the extent of crazy places in the US or UK. There's about 80 homicides/year in Toronto. A decade ago it hit 100 I think and people were freaking out it's hit 3 digits. Now back to 80.
So it shows you can have a mix of people and the city gets along. Problem is some countries allow too many of the shitty foreigners in like it's a cakewalk to stroll on in. And when it comes to extraditing them, it might be a tough thing to do once they land their two feet on your local soil due to rights granted.
However, whenever you see major crime in Toronto (murders, smash and grabs, big stolen car theft rings, drugs etc...), its kind of funny how it's almost always Black, Middle Eastern or Indian people. Despite the metro area being about 50% white and 20% East Asian (Chinese, Korean etc..), there's a small number of major crime done by 70% of this population. Almost all of the major events involve the other 30%. For the East Asian community, you'd be lucky if there's one crime article per month. And if there is, it's something really weird and obscure like real estate agent forgeries or someone pretending to be a landlord and stealing a renter's deposit.

I'm not an angel, I take being a parent serious and what that kind of trauma can do to a child through their lifetime, when the perpetrator would move on after a few weeks.
Sometimes examples have to be made. You don't touch women and children, no means no, or you'll learn that lesson the hard way.

But as a landlord, a tenant ripped me off 2 months rent running out middle of the night, plus I paid for real estate lawyer advice. All in all I was out a good $6-7k.
End of the day, I'd win the case if went all the way to tenant court. But my lawyer advised going through the hassle will cost you more money, no guarantee the tenant may even pay you anyway and getting comped full legal fees isnt happening too.
So the discussion went like this...... "are you up money on the unit".... "yes"......"do you want more legal hassles"...... "no"......"just cut your losses you had a professional tenant doing the rounds"
So just like physical abuse situations, even white collar money situations the crook always has a good chance of getting away with it where the victim gets burned or ripped off.
For some reason the laws are done in such a way the victim side always has to grind through it for compensation and justice, while the crook getting penalized fairly and on time is a joke.
Just to show how stupid it is, if someone steals something from a store for $10 and gets caught. The cops might arrest him if fast enough to be there. If a guy runs out not paying a hotel bill, same thing could happen. But if a tenant runs out on paying $2,300/mth rent two months in a row, cops do nothing and you got to send warning letters to the deadbeat and then go through landlord/tenant court.
