I think this post qualifies as the new poster child for "missing the forest for the trees."

I don't think I've seen a better example of cherry picking, that's actually quite impressive. It's incredibly easy to take terrible shots of pretty much any game, including Shadows, and make it look awful. Case in point:
No one is saying Yotei has the most impressive graphics or tech - but terrible screenshots do not in any way represent what it is like
in motion, let alone what it is like
to play. Shadows has better assets and tech, no question. It also has no soul - it feels like playing a tech demo. Yotei feels like it was made by people who
actually play games, and
actually love Japan and wanted to make a real tribute. There's a reason Tsushima and Yotei are popular in Japan and Shadows is not. It doesn't feel authentic or genuine.
And don't get me started on the characters and performances, ugh. This is not cherry picking, this is the culmination of a
main quest line and one of the
main targets:
Again, screenshots are one thing - this is what it's like
to actually play. You really want to defend this garbage?
Really?
This is disingenuous, while SlimySnake's shots of Yotei were not cherry picked at all? Come on dude.
