Switch 2 camera $10 at GameStop

The price is right, but there's no stock at my local store, and shipping is $6 ish. I'll have to see if there is anything else I want that adds up to the minimum for free shipping, but I might have to give this one a miss.

Shipping kills the deal. None in stock 100 miles. Maybe if i can pricematch best buy.

Oof, I did not know Best Buy doesn't price match Gamestop.

The quality is so bad on this. I picked one up at launch and returned it. I don't think I'll get it again for even $10.

However, if you play online with friends or play games with your family, there's fun to be had with the few games that support it (like Mario Party Jamboree).

I grabbed one just for possible kid game stuff with my son. Not sure what there is. I've just seen it used for Star Fox.

Grabbed one this morning, it ended up being free after a random $5 promo card and the credit I had from a GameStop settlement lol.

Thank god for Wario64's tweets.

What do you even use this for on the Switch 2? Livestreaming yourself?

Does this work on pc too or is it some proprietary Nintendo connector?
Talking Star Fox GIF

This .... thing

For video chat while playing games together. Mario Kart World puts a video feed of your face in a bubble above your character.

On PC it's a 1080p/30fps webcam that uses USB-C connector and has decent video quality.

Should have been a pack-in just to set it as standard so devs could actually come up with ideas for it without worrying about the install base.

But you don't need to have a special Switch camera, there's a feature in the settings to test any random USB camera with the system
