I play this with the infinite explosives arrows, and I must say it's really FUN!

Dude I maxed it out @1080p (minus the useless tessellation) with a gtx260 from 08.
I guess I am just speaking from a perspective of someone who doesn't use his albeit old PC for games like this that are demanding from a graphics card point of view, games like this are on the consoles only for me..

I think this was on the original Crysis 2 also. I wonder if the remastered version has J-mod or anything to fix the massive weapon models that take up half the screen, i hated that console focused design decision.

....That's all well and good if you've got the rig (or PC) to handle the high end side of Crysis 2, shame it isn't available for consoles...(the mod)

That's why the PC is my preferred platform, always will be, btw.. The game runs at 2K res, max settings with ray tracing on very high on my RTX 2070 and I still have a high FPS.

CryTek were wizards.

I 'member playing Crysis 2 on Xbox 360 after trying (and failing) to run a Crysis demo on every computer I could find for years because I wanted to play it so bad.

On the first C2 level, when you come up from underwater and see an apocalyptic vista, the achievement "Can It Run Crysis?" pops up. Felt like I'd made it.

Meh, I only like the first Crysis.

Though I will say, I admire the devs for letting their main character shit all over one of the big selling points of 3, which literally was the bow, even if it was only for just a second.

Psycho: *shows off bow* "Here, a present for you. You like it?"
Nomad: *emphatically* NO.

Always liked Crysis 2. Wasn't a good sequel to Crysis, but a great FPS game in its own right. Remaster is pretty good on PC and is always around for cheap.

Surely it would be improved on the Series X/S machines? I brought Crysis 1 for the PC but never got into it, barely played it if at all, though somewhat intrigued by part 2 and 3
The 360 version of Crysis 2 locks to a nice, consistent 31fps on Series X. So, just about the worst framerate possible (although LFC fixes it).
The Remastered version has some kind of weird behavior with the aiming. I can't tell what's going on, but I find it less pleasant to play than the 360 version.
I never got around to trying out 1 or 3 Remastered, since 2 is my favorite.
