Normally I don't like too much government regulation, but in this case, I wouldn't be against governments mandating that AI can only take up to 33% of a semiconductor company's business to ensure that electronic manufacturers don't collapse and that the people have affordable access to electronic devices. Yups, that would be not poor by worldwide standard, by western standard ppl below avg US yearly salary aka under 60-65k usd like myself are considered poor, ppl like myself can easily afford spending 5k usd per gen on our gaming hobby, we most likely wont spend 15k usd per gen tho and thats what will be required from core console owners 2028 owners, defo not mainstream anymore.
