Really fell off the wagon this month. Hit that brick wall I was warned about with Wheel of Time, had to push hard to get through it - and then the ending was exciting enough to make me immediately start the next book instead of taking a breather like I'd planned. Damn you Robert Jordan.

While I barely watched any movies either, very glad I saw Get Out. Contender for my top movie of 2017 for sure.

Took a dive on reading. Still trying to catch up on comics, plus lifegets in the way. Found the time to go to the movies though. Also, as a special PSA just want everyone to give Sweet/Vicious a shot, it's a little bit Buffy, a little bit Arrow. Streams on the MTV website and isone of the most awesome yet underwatched shows of the last year. Binged all ten episods in two days. Check it out. Watch Here

A little disappointed that I didn't get enough reading done, however I am close to finishing off a book (Neil Gaiman's American Gods - < 100 pages to go) but I couldn't finish by the end of the month. Oh well.

On the positive the two books that I got through this month (Blood Meridian and A Little Life) were incredible reads, in different ways. Looking forward to reading more from both authors.

Movies (there's no way I'm only ganna do 50, so I'll just post the movies I've thought about more than once)

1. Godzilla Resurgence : absolutely wonderful

2. Freefire - OK. Lost track of what was happening and not as clever/intense as the Wheatley movies I love.

3. Prevenge - OK. Not funny enough to recommend as a comedy and not grim/entertaining enough to recommend as a horror movie (for me). Glad it's doing well!

4. The Love Witch - Absolutely no idea why this was made. An impressive feat, but one I was painfully bored of within minutes. Movie was hours.

5. Accidental Courtesy - Incredible, lovely, thinky, intense at times, life affirming.. a brilliant documentary.

It was a bad month for me in terms of finishing books despite doing a lot of reading. I had to read 3 books that I've already read, a couple sections of larger books, and a bunch of short stories. That being said, I enjoyed Othello, and I should have about 5 books to put on the list in early April.

On the movie front, I've been watching the Fast and Furious movies with the commentary Giant Bomb has been doing and am enjoying those a lot.
