This is a video retrospective and critique of the Resident Evil 4 Remake, Resident Evil 9: Requiem, and a whole huge helping of middle-era Resident Evil titles that fell through the cracks and weren't covered by by larger retrospective from a few years back. The middle era titles are mostly also remakes, lightgun game digests, and other offbeat spinoffs like Dead Aim and Operation Raccoon City. If RE9 is a game about legacy, this analysis seeks to figure out what that legacy really is and what it might actually mean. Spoilers throughout for each review!
