if only they can design better character, no offense,
but the character is like cheap shovelware parody character duh
it doesn't like superhero enough in my opinion .
DC titan like cyborg (not go version) is better suited design wise,
and still look fun and badass.

Why is it so common for Black superheroes to be some kind of billboards for African-American culture? I prefer when the main focus is on the character as a person and not on their ethnicity. There are probably lots of Black youths in USA who aren't urbanites and who don't live for spraying graffiti and listening to rap.

IMO that's why Snipes' Blade landed so well for so many people. He was played straight and without pandering. I don't think Hollywood understands how to even do that anymore.

I remember thinking how refreshing Falcon was in The Winter Soldier. Just a good dude whose race is inconsequential and never mentioned. Imagine my disappointment seeing what they did to his character with his TV show during peak Hollywood retardation.

I think a lot of these types of superheroes were created to SPECIFICALLY target/appeal to these demographics. The suits see a wedge of "potential audience" that they want and they order up a stereotype to go after it.
Creating an actual novel hero is really hard as well, MUCH easier to slap some ethnic traits and give it a social cause to trumpet and move on. Take Spawn, for example. I don't recall many racial plotlines in the run I read. Hell, you could read a lot of issues and not even realize he WAS originally black.
