- Both leads are both veterans from Uncharted and Infinity Ward for 18 years
- The devs wanted to innovate how cover systems worked in video games
- Cover system is fully dynamic
- This allows for more dynamic terrain for firefights (as shown in the trailer) instead obvious 'open flat ground arena with cover-sized rocks and walls'
- Because of this, surprise fights can happen more often for the player since it isn't telegraphed by the level itself.
