Can't wait. Every post, wink, joke or gif I post will be over analyzed as some hint towards nx info.So if a reveal will happen in April you will get the upgraded status of insider.
Kimishima flat out said the Wii U name sucked and he never liked it. Wii as branding is dead.
That and Nintendo is not going to go back to a single analog stick.
A mid-September Nikkei story suggested he did, but Kimishima says he was responding to a life-to-date sales comparison question, and that his answer was misunderstood.
The Nikkei reporters question to me was The Wii U is not selling at this point in its lifetime as well as the Wii was at the same time. Why is that?' says Kimishima. And my answer was that the Wii at this point has sold over 100 million units worldwide, and even through there are people saying Hey, since the Wii was so successful, Wii U is also going to be successful and its also going to sell like wildfire as well, I looked at that global install base and said that it might not sell as well. That was my response. Not that it wouldnt sell, but that it would be more difficult because of the install base of the Wii itself.
The point that I was trying to get across was that Wii has sold so much and is being played by so many people, its not going to be easy to make them leave that and come to the next system. That was my only point, that it was a difficult task for us to bring those consumers from Wii to Wii U. But unfortunately it doesnt look like my message got across clearly.
I guess it saying [DESTRUCTOID] in the title despite them having nothing to do with the rumor does give it some credibility at a glance.the fact that the topic is still going on, is somehow amazing and points to a possible credibility of the source of the leak, imho.

This has been discussed a lot.To have Nintendo's best teams working non-stop on one single system, and to have great third party support like the 3DS have in Japan on the go, in the "same" quality as a home console.....
Damn, no time to follow all this, looks interesting
I'm from Belgium, so i've allot of other things on my mind.
Or how well the guy was able to fabricate a fake controller.the fact that the topic is still going on, is somehow amazing and points to a possible credibility of the source of the leak, imho.

Wait orgen is the real deal. Hold me gaf. In a month we will know. BELIEVE
"Savonnette" I could bought (it's french for "soap", so... whatever), but has the Wii name on it, so no. It's a dumb fake
In a month, we will know something. Keep your expectations low. It could just be the name and/or concept. It could be more, but then you can be happily surprised, Manuel.
Well, obviously, considering Mr. Kimishima said that himself. Not with those words, but still.I only said that we'll get more NX info before E3. I think (and now this is personal opinion) it'll be more related to a full reveal than a "we're working on it and we'll see more at E3" so that's why I said that I don't know if this new info will be in the briefing meeting or a separate direct.
But you can bet that you're going to get more NX info before E3.
And yeah, I love winking ;D
NX is looking like the dumbest thing but who knows
It will be up to Nintendo to sell me on this "New Idea"
IM just worried that we are getting another high cost low power device
But no one knows anything about the NX, LMAO.

It's a given we'll get some NX information prior to E3. The amount of information and type of information remains a mystery. But anyone predicting or teasing NX info prior to E3 is stating the obvious.
I don't know, Orgen has spoken. Now I expect everything.

Wii Cross. Haha. That silly "cross/X" naming would never make its way west.
Mr. Kimishima said this in the Q&A session of the Third Quarter Financial Results Briefing for Fiscal Year Ending March 2016:Which comment are you referring to? Just that we won't hear anything more until the next FY? Not that I'm skeptical we'll hear something prior to E3, just curious.
Source: https://www.nintendo.co.jp/ir/en/library/events/160203qa/03.htmlAs for new businesses, we will present further information when we go into details about our forecasts for the next fiscal year. We do not plan to speak about NX today. We continue development and planning efforts for NX in preparation for launch, so it will require additional investment.
Are you making a reference to this?

I'm done checking this thread everytime it goes on top of the first page. I've been looking forward for NX news since january 1st and I'm just tired of speculations. Will freeze till E3.
10 days before the end of this Fiscal Year, expect tons of news at that dateyeah, yeah, April Fools
Nintendo has many ways to improve its next controller:
-adding a calibration screen for sticks
-make sure it has all the standart imputs, including analog shoulders
-make it mate! glossy plastic is a nightmare to keep clean
-Wii U pro controller battery life should be the standart
I just hope they adress to issues before thinking adding no necessary stuff
This looks so terrible. Why would you want to remove the feedback and ability to muscle memory a a button, in order to stick a button inside a screen. It's like the worst of both worlds. Unless they're going to carve some physical feedback (etching, etc.) into the face of the glass, which sounds extremely not fun to play with long term.
This whole 'get rid of buttons' movement is entirely baffling to me. It's like having a pair of shoes without soles. "Look how inventive! They're shoes without soles! it's like you're barefoot, but you're wearing shoes!" What exactly is the point?
I'm okay with another Wii U pro-controller as the main controller.
That's so sexy
Remember these Wii U leaks? This was back when it was still Project Cafe. They seem legit and they looked exactly like the patent.
