According to him it's one of the best cards last generation had to offer.
For Nintendo....I'll take it
so $199?
Nope.
"you can think of the NX as a turbo charged last gen console"
... So barely a leap over the Wii-U then? What's with Nintendo's obsession with releasing turbo chared last gen hardware?

Pretty much confirms that there will be no backwards compatibility. No surprise there.

Well... worst case scenario, Nintendo's one step closer to going mobile only.

Don't look at the comment.
I'm still not sure if it's outright a TegraX1, but I'm going to guess it's a custom variant between X1 and X2.
can't wait to see this thing

It's either Pascal or Maxwell architecture. I don't think they will release an hybrid architecture.
Made the mistake of scrolling down to the YT comments. Yikes.

So a bit better than wii-u, but way behind xbone?
Fixed for accuracy. It's hilarious that people think that Nintendo's going to join a declining dedicated hardware segment instead of a growing one AND forego 30 percent for far less returns than they have with their currently modest sell-through.

Cool video. Thanks, OP!
I don't think the NX will launch with the Tegra 2. Nintendo will probably do the same it did to the 3DS: we'll have the Tegra 1 NX next year and, two or three years down the road, we'll have the New NX with a Tegra 2 to boos performance. It's basically what Sony and Microsoft are doing right now with the PS4 Neo and the Xbox Scorpio.
And this why I never look at YT comments, ever

Keeping costs down, especially for a handheld device.... So barely a leap over the Wii-U then? What's with Nintendo's obsession with releasing turbo chared last gen hardware?
Nintendo rarely takes a loss on hardware, which is why they never go hi end component's.Pretty much confirms that there will be no backwards compatibility. No surprise there.
