Need one of these for Universal Studios Epic, as the theming and attractions there are INSANE. Disney is definitely having to up their game to keep up.

Need one of these for Universal Studios Epic, as the theming and attractions there are INSANE. Disney is definitely having to up their game to keep up.

Disney can do some amazing theming like with Cars Land, Galaxy's Edge, or Pandora, but they also do shit like Avenger's Campus at DCA or World Celebration Gardens at Epcot. They're just not consistent anymore and tend to cheap out while Universal goes all in with everything they've been building lately. I have my criticisms for Universal (we got on 4 rides in 12 hours at Epic last year), but their theming is beyond compare right now. Will be interesting to see how the Villains land and Cars land at Magic Kingdom turn out, I'm expecting great things to compete with what Universal has been doing.

Definitely agree, I know Universal has been beating them in terms of hype when it comes to the Theme Park Sector. Their Nintendo World and Harry Potter Theme Parks look amazing. I have always want to go to both

Yeah with their MCU Theme Park, I always felt it was super lame with how much money that brand made them during Phase One to Phase Three. They really should have spend more money on making a theme park around MCU/Marvel Comics that would have been like stepping into the movies/comics. That was a miss opportunity on their part

All that marvel stuff is at Universal Studios Orlando. Thry bought the thrme park rights to most of the characters back in the 90s. So Disney world CAN NOT use the same characters. Probably one of the reasons they keep trying to make the Dlist ones 'fetch', because Universal doesn't have those.

It's crazy how complicated the Marvel Brand is when it comes to the rights being with other companies in regards to the other entertainment sectors outside of comics

Its even more crazy that Disney bought it for a mere 4 billion.

I'm shocked they haven't bought spidey back from sony or hulk back from Paramount. These Hollywood contracts are so silly with how long they last. So many IPs get optioned and then just stuck on the backburner for DECADES.

I know but from what I remember Marvel Comics was in dire money issues back than so they had to do that. But it's just interesting to me just reading about rights issues Marvel Comics/Marvel Studios/Disney has in regards to anything outside of the comics. I would definitely read a book on that, where they went into full details about how complicated those rights issues really are

I just find it interesting how DC Comics have all the rights under one roof and they are still not being able to make a dent in regards to movies and shows
