Although using third person makes it easier, hood or cockpit make the game much more immersive and intense. Driving through the fields in cockpit view is nuts.

Looking forward to using cockpit view, it looks pretty good but I didn't like it on a pad. Cockpit or bonnet. Dunno yet.
bonnet for me 90% of the time.

How do your times compare on a wheel vs a pad mate?

as we discussed yesterday over our online fm5 races, what horizon2 needs asap, is the separation in leaderboards.
you used rewind? happy for you, but your laptime should be listed after the slowest dude that did not use rewind.
also some switches on the leaderboard, like a filter displaying results using combo wheel/simulation/damage would be nice too.
you know these kind of settings will bring laptimes that maybe are 10 or 20 seconds slower, while in reality these laptimes take a skill level x100 than what the leaderboards currently show as top talent

Isn't possible to dirty laps now then? Makes sense with the corner cutting but yeah rewind should be punished.

Hood view is the way to go.
Bumper cam is nigh impossible when going through fields (all you see is grass).

Same for me, just going exploring.
First thing I did in FH too - earned the Achievement for driving every road before I';d done much else. Probably won't go to that extreme this time.

Remember there is rewards for taking pictures of the different cars in game then.

Turn the force feedback up and the music down.
heh, for me it's disabling the driving line, adjusting some difficulty settings, then just free roam as soon as the game let's me. (which will be too long, sadly).

Do retailer specific preorder cars typically get released later for everyone as DLC? Probably going to pick it up digitally to burn through credit but I hate to miss out on that Ferrari from Amazon (or Lambo from GameStop.)
Give it a shot, what does it say in My Games & Apps when you do it?
It unlocks at the timezone of whatever store you bought it from

Keep in mind you're locked to that region for DLC as well then. Which is fine, but transactions could take longer because you need cards/codes in that currency.
I did the same for MotoGP 14 on ps4. Had to get UK codes for the DLC.

Day One Deluxe secured! The Forza 5 weekend got me back into racing games, leading me to pick up a physical copy of the game the very same weekend. The Horizon 2 demo sent me into full on addict mode.

So according to Xbox Help it's okay for me to do this, but it's at my own risk due to changing region with a UK billing address.
Has anyone tried this? Desperate to know if I can do this before it's too late.

I don't really care about extra cars that much. The difference between 200 cars and 260 after DLC packs means little to me. I will likely just find the early 90's Toyota Supra and as long as that's good in this game spend the majority of my time in that. Love the Supra.
The deluxe edition comes with the VIP pass that has experience boost abilities. Am I going to be crippled without this?
I don't want to spend more money that I need to, but I don't want to be "left behind" because I was too cheap to buy a couple of upgrades.
