If you want to see the difference between people who are full of crap, and those who genuinely think their President is remotely like Hitler, watch their reactions when they are asked questions about that person. In the US, people will proudly call Trump every single expletive in the middle of Times Square even on TV. In Russia, they look like they are in front of a firing squad when asked about Putin, because it's not a joke, they will go to prison depending on what they say. You simply do not act that way if your life was in danger. And the thing is, Putin is still no where near as bad as Hitler. People are still allowed to leave Russia. I know people from Europe who think Trump is Hitler while happily going to Disney World on holiday. Just think about it.

The UK spends $60+ billion in defense every year, Argentina $4 billion. Home court advantage would be a big equalizer, but also a big drawback if the UK decided to take the gloves off.

Well the Argentinaian air force now has 6 ex Danish F-16 fighters built in the 80s, whereas both of the UK carriers just came our of a maintenance period just when the UK just took deliver of its 48th F-35, I would say there was better timing to make those threats and its historically never a good idea to antagonise the UK when a PM is unpopular. (and this one is very unpoular)

As fucked over as our military has been, we do have two of the most advanced aircraft carriers in the world (in some ways more so than only of the US ones) with enough F-35Bs, six of the among the best air defence frigates in the world, and some of the best nuclear-powered attack submarines in the world. The Eurofighters are not to be sniffed at, and we natively produce some very good missiles.
Argentina would be fucked.
Our problem is not our military, but as someone else pointed out, a good military expedition can do wonders for polling numbers if successful.

The Falklands aren't within the area ostensibly covered by NATO. Last time around it was French missiles sinking British ships.
They are way more defended now than then (when they were all but undefended), but my expectation would be that Starmer would immediately surrender the islands if they were attacked.
