Titans are so fucking overpriced, I envy/pity those that purchase it, but without any real judgment attached. I'll probably wait and purchase a 1080ti 2 or 3 years down the line. Currently rockin the 980ti and it's plenty for my current PC/VR needs.

Maybe that level of performance doesn't need more than 480gb/s (with delta compression)No HBM2 for $1200 lmao
Oh man do us PC gaming idiots deserve this nonsense if Nvidia is successful with this.

"Smokey"
I'm disappointed.
Smokey retired or something. He gave up his sli cards for a baby or something.

Hold on to your hats ladies and gentlemen, it crushes me that there is a market for this as I'm pretty sure the 1080ti is going to outperform it when it releases for about half it's price. In a few months from now no less...
Man I'd love one of these for 1080p gaming
Captain Obvious says this is not worth the extra dough over the 1080.
This is a hobby card for graphics enthusiasts that enjoy the thrill of the best.
It can't be "Titan with half memory and a couple of cores disabled" like the last two unless the ti somehow winds up with 6GB. A souped up 1080 on GP104 seems more likely if they even decide to have one this time around.
The GeForce GTX Titan X (Pascal) is based on the latest GP102 GPU core. This isn’t the GP100 GPU but a derived version of the same core built and optimized for gamers. Since GP100 utilizes NVLINK, the GP102 GPU has been made to perform best with PCI-Express based platforms, especially the GeForce market. it doesn’t means that consumers won’t get an HBM2 based graphics card down in the roadmap. Actually, a HBM2 variant for GeForce market is planned for next year.
11 teraflops is great but what is the quality of the pixels
Ok...11 TFLOPS...that should produce the sharpest, most uncompressed pixels and run at 4K/60fps.
Right?
Where's my HBM2 at bruh.
GDDR5X GTFO not for $1200

This is the ultimate 1080p card right?
What is this quality of pixel business?
I feel like I missed a GAF meme.

Actually I am surprised it's only 1200 dollars all things considering.
I can't tell if you are joking but, I got a 1070 last week and I am fine for any 1080p game for awhile and can probably do some 1440p stuff.

YOU GUYS DONT NEED HBM. Compression algorithms are much more important!
AFAIK, HBM 1 and 2 are a bust because of the power requirements, HBM3 is the only one that can save this architecture
the 980 ti was like 650 when it launched, right?
That's what I paid for mine anyway
Let's hope that stays consistent(it won't)
Hoping the Ti is around the corner so I can step up.
