Couldn't care less about Phantom Blade 0. I don't mean any disrespect to the Chinese but the game just has that style over substance vibe that a lot of Chinese and Korean games have and every game coming out of China seems to be following the same Soulslike/Soulslite formula and I'm already so fucking bored of it especially as somebody that doesn't care for From Software titles outside of Bloodborne.

When it comes to Wolverine I'm of two minds. I generally like the Arkham style combat and I enjoyed the Spiderman games quite a bit plus it looks like it will be a bit darker? But on the other hand everything I've ever seen of X-men looks corny as fuck in the most dweeby comic book super hero way so I don't know.

I'd say since I like the Spiderman games I'll probably get Wolverine as it looks more adult oriented and possibly more like that Logan movie that my girlfriend always tells me I would like.

While I'm somewhat tired of the "ancient magical Asia" setting, from what we've seen I think Phantom Blade Zero looks way cooler.

Duh.
GAF "generalization" hate on games like Fortnite, COD, Sports games....etc.
The games that the mainstream eat up year in year out.

Our tastes are different from the general audience.

Phantom Blade hasn't had the biggest marketing push either so who knows.
If they get a runaway success like WuKong and actually end up beating Wolverine end of year sales that would be wild as fuck but highly unlikely even with the PC advantage Phantom Blade has.

Same, how are people excited abt the predictable corporate products that America pumps out regularly? All those branded characters, IPs . It's all so repetitive to me, safe, sterilised, least offensive, designed by pie charts for the masses. Most of their mainstream products (films, games) are just that, You've consumed a few, you've consumed them all.

I have far more interest in 'wild west' products,stuff that can actually surprise you and doesn't feel like it was designed to get a good review score. That entire greedy country is designed to hoard wealth while making the world into an NPC.
