Hes done realy great at tricking us into getting Xbox, couple yrs ago they anounce all these games, we get our new Xbox and now just hear about these games getting scaled down and dev problems. Its ok though as weve got that sweet 3 years of gamepass already paid for so get big hitters like High on life and Potion Craft.

Tbf, there was probably more Muppets at the game awards than game reveals, we know what these journalists are like 👀

Joking aside, apparently in a now deleted tweet, there was some Xbox studio thing posted, and someone implied it would be like Nintendo Directs, could be most likely absolutely nothing, as I'm not really sure how reliable Jeez Cordens overall track record is. (I could even have the info mixed up too, as I read it half asleep before going bed last night)

The deal is as good as done. This is Microsoft we're talking about. They will get what they want. When you have as much money as Microsoft, you can do whatever you want. Not only will they get Activision but also more publishers over the coming years. Activision will open the floodgates.
With how much pushback this deal is getting, the next attempt at buying a publisher is dead in the water for MS if they do get Activision

Only if he brings back the glory days of the original Xbox and the Xbox 360 days does he deserve an award. Till then he deserves nothing.

If it falls apart, ... leaves their subscription service plan without a key pillar valued at USD$70b.
or he could use those saved 70bn to create several exclusive studios from scratch, which then can make games they don't have to provide to anyone.
Sony would have nothing to cry about, xbox gamers would get games no one else gets and would have finally more ammunition for list wars.

Buying existing stuff benefits no one other than share holders and Musk, Bezos, Arnault and all the other kremlins having way too much money and buying the world with it.

This deal or Bungie or coming Tencent and Embracer stuff should not be allowed anymore. Giants buying their supposed competition.

His accomplishments in the industry are unrivalled. Sony fans might not like it, but the results speak for themselves. Anyway, I’m going to go now and spend time with my friends blowing down buildings in Crackdown 3.
What results?

Stagnant GamePass userbase or getting outsold in your strongest market by a competitor with supply issues or lack of games?

You wanna talk about buying awards huh?
I can't believe that Ryan called Phil Spencer and Sarah Bond muppets.

Seriously though, I am getting a strange feeling that Spencer will be gone after the Activision buyout (whether it goes through or not) and the last few months is giving him the send off for making Xbox Division somewhat relevant this gen.

Bond opened their last E3. It's been obvious for a while that he will retire at some point. Not that shocking really.
