I was talking of the user choice awards which were dominated by FF, MGS and MH titles.

The winners are all third party titles. What makes it even worse is that one of the major game series being mentioned (MH) aren't even on PS systems anymore.

This paints a really grim outlook for the Playstation brand in Japan and pretty much shows that it was mainly built off third party software during the PS1 and PS2 era.
