UGH all these feels. This awards show is far better than any VGA/VGX/Dorito show I've seen.

It might have been a bit long in the tooth, but it reminded me just how important Japan was to my Youth, to the industry, and to PlayStation.

Some of you guys are here to mock these people (I'm still a bit put off by the guy who said he wanted to punch the people on stage), but to see these creators and their life work being honored is pretty amazing. These are games from an era where JRPG's, pre-rendered cutscenes, and advancements in gameplay design were happening at a fever pitch.
