They both look like you, taken during different timeframes.

I still have the boobies, I just didn't make them the centerpiece of that picture. GOD, you guys.

Because to me it looked like you were trying to take attention away from Koshiba's post (it actually worked too).

I don't know if you've been hanging around this thread much, but it's pretty much a shoe-in that whenever Lem posts a picture, a small riot ensues. Robertsan's a tad late but he's in a different time zone anyway. He should arrive shortly!

Are those arrows on your top pointing at your breasts? Good photo, though you do have a lot of red around your eyes like you've been 'puffing the magic dragon'. Are you okay?

I did long ago...but I wonder how a few of you look like...
I don't think these guys posted their pics:
Hitokage, solrac (he tried to heheh), Duane (aka pimpwerx...I still have that old photoshop of "you" and that chick from the Drew Carey show hehe), Ghost, COCKLES, the rest of the Xbots, well..I guess there are lots.

As said before there are reasons why...being self conscious and stuff...but I'm always curious about some of the other long term posters.

(Well, no, not really. I just don't feel the need, nor do I have any "good" pictures lying about. The GAFers who I meet for drinks and shit (or just hang out with) know what I look like, that's good enough for me.)

I don't recall anyone asking or caring, unless you make posts like that. Then people say, "This is a picture thread. Post a picture, comment on a picture or get out." Don't come in here just to say why you won't post your picture. That's lame.

EDIT: Here I'll actually tell you guys the story behind my avatar. Basically I was at Earls and it was cheap margarita night, so I thought I'd try one out. I'm a bartender myself, so I always like to see how drinks are made at other restaurants/bars, etc.. Needless to say, it sucked.

After that I just imitated the look on some guy's face in their drinks menu.

Err...yeah :P

Anyway my friend made a hilarious face that night as well, so we always use those pics together when showing people:

I didn't say why I wouldn't post my pic. I said people have reasons why. I'm just wondering about us longtime posters who've been posting since the birth of Gaming-Age.com. Heck, like even Jim. I wonder how he looks like. Especially considering that our appearances changed over the last 8 years.

I can think of something far more lame when it comes to picture threads...loxy hinted at exactly what.

1.) As mentioned, the lotion. Stow it. Everyone does it, we just dont wanna look at the evidence.

2.) Finish yer beverages before moving on to the next. Ya got pepsi there half finished, and some snapple or something too. Pick a horse. That shit collects, mold, whatever. Plus its wasteful. Havent you seen pepsi commercials? Kids all around the world love pepsi, count yourself lucky you have any.

3.) Dont look so surprised. Or...insane. Maybe close your eyes a little bit more. I mean if youre gonna go all the way for the insane, cut the eyes out of pictures in the background.

4.) Anime girls and Action figures? I mean, maybe without the lotion it'd be passable, but I dunno what youre trying to show off there.

5.) Was this at work? Please borrow some spreadsheets from friends you may have who have a real job and scatter them on the desk so you dont throw people into a rage.

I was just joking to play up that aspect of what people think of me. I was being tongue in cheek, but I suck and it doesn't come across right.

Nah I was just confused when you said you didn't care what people think of you, yet you bothered replying in this thread. But I believe you, since the question was sorta asked above, so yeah.

Props MAF, I'm sort of the same way, sort of. I care what people say, but not so much for anything negative. No matter what I look like, I think it's cool to have my face as my avatar, and to use my real name as well. I don't *need* some sort of alterego for the net, I really don't care. I don't think I act differently on the net, but I probably do, who knows...but it's that sorta thing I try to veer away from.

And yeah, I never got mirror shots. I never did that - I'd always just hold my camera in front of me and take a pic. It doesn't take much skill.
