Those pics are from my park, it is an awesome little nugget inside city subarbia.
I wished they'd stop developing over this area, people forget it can be quite beautiful.

Pics from a trip I took to visit a buddy of mine in another prefecture (Fukui) last month. This temple was really beautiful, even in the shitty weather. The city I live in (Kanazawa) has this really beautiful garden and a huge castle, but the only time I've been was at night, when it was pouring, and my camera ran out of batteries. Next time!
So after he takes me to see the temple, for some reason the next stop is to the "bookstore" that he and his GF like to frequent. Uh, yeah. But I did find this magazine's title humorous:

These are the some of the worst students in their grades at two of the schools I go to. If kids are being bad here, the teachers just ignore them instead of actually doing something! But when the kids are "bad" here, all they're doing is being noisy or talking. I've never seen anyone getting picked on or fighting. The boys in the pic on the right were not supposed to be outside, but this was on a Saturday during a special event, so I didn't quite get why they just didn't go home if they didn't want to be there. :lol Never seen any boys try to leave school, but last week I did see these two girls try to go home after taking the class pictures for the year book. They didn't want to be in the pictures for whatever reason; took like 30 minutes to get them to stand there for 10 seconds.
This is from a cooking class at my main/base school. This was the first time I had ever seen students using this classroom; people from other schools came to see. They made traditional foods from Kanazawa.

How long have you been living there?
Here's a picture from a trip to Noto Hanto.
I've been here since late August, but really haven't seen all that much of the city yet, mainly due to being sidelined by a broken leg for about two months, and then lots and lots of shitty weather on the weekends keeping me inside or just in my neighborhood area.
