I went drinking with Eriko and her friends last night. Her friend Chinatsu (who DOES know me from several other occasions), tried to guess how old I am.

Chinatsu: Sorry Nayan....but you look 27.
Me: That`s....that`s actually not so bad. I`ll take that.
Chinatsu: You know...I really like older guys.
Me: ...Okidoki!

I swear to god, Japanese girls have no internal monologue. I constantly hear pretty hilarious things from girls: "Wow, you`re hot!" "Thanks, so are you." I mean, what do you say to that?!

(for those curious, things ARE going somewhere with her, so don`t reply with FHUTA)

QFT. I went to the Tenjin matsuri yesterday with some friends, the true motivation being to stare at truckloads of girls in yukatas of course, and seriously, some seem to literally think out loud or something while you pass them/look at them. My Japanese is still uber-dodgy so I didn't catch much of it, but my Japanese friend/tutor and a Korean friend that speaks Japanese fluently had a ball translating it. Fun times :).

Last weekend, I was in Hirakata at a club, and a girl came up to me, and was telling my friend Yuko that I was really cute, and then turned to me, and said in Japanese "please teach me how to dance." And I`m like "sure, okay."

So I`m dancing with her, and I ask her if she goes to the university nearby. She responds "my boyfriend does" and points to a japanese dude scowling in the corner.

Be prepared for shit like that to happen.

Well, it doesn`t help that I`m wearing a suit or a collared shirt in most of the photos. I strangely look younger with the goatee and earring i used to have before moving to Japan.

Thanks, haha, it's not the best picture, but it's very recent and I don't have a camera so I can really only get pictures of me from people I meet up with from time to time >_>;

This is how I look like when I come out of Kickboxing classes. The red circles under my eyes and palpitating neck arteries are not clear, but present. I also felt like I was about to die (that was like my second or third class).

Good god I look like I just came O_o
