The scripts for both movies are absolutely awesome. Venkman and Spengler's lines are my faves probably.

The guy who plays Vigo the Carpathian (Wilhelm Von Homburg) died in March of 2004.

Also one of the guys who generally gives the Ghostbusters a hard time in II, played by Christopher Neame, also played Jerec in Jedi Knight on the PC

Everyone, including Aykroyd, gave up on Ghostbusters 3. It was a combination of the story somehow actually being worse than Ghostbusters 2, Murray wanting too much money, and the (very) unconfirmed rumor that somehow, The Matrix's story having too much overlap.
